The Bose Quiet Comfort 35 Series 1 headphones are a true all-rounder.

Engineered to cancel noise

Bose Quiet Comfort 35 Headphones are engineered with precision noise cancellation, making external sound quieter and music your main focus.

Magical to the ears

Acousting Noise Cancelling technology continually measures and reacts to outside noise, cancelling them with the opposite signal.

20 Hour battery life

Enjoy up to 20 hours of listening, enough time to pour through as many playlists as you have stored. And if you somehow run out of battery without finishing all of your playlists on a single charge, a quick 15 minute charge gives you another 2.5 hours of life to carry on going.

Built to Last

With impact resistant materials, glass-filled nylon and corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the Quiet Comfort 35 headphones are engineered to survive life on the go.

The headband features an Alcantara, soft cover material, providing a welcome comfort designed for all day listening. The ear cushions are manufactured from a synthetic protein leather, with silicone bead for passive noise reduction.

One app for total control

The Bose Connect app gives you easy access to everything including settings for the headphones including noise cancellation level.

Whats in the Box

Sony XM3 are much better in every department and can be picked up for a similar price
Without doubt the best headphones I've ever owned, and I've had a lot. Comfy for long periods, fantastic balanced sound, high build quality. Perfect. And before anyone says it, I bought the XM3's first but hated them. Way too much bass, not comfortable for long listening periods, and look stupid, like Mickey mouse ears. Lol

Great headphones. Perfect for plane, chores or when the wife is talking to me.

From the dodgy store eGlobal? Yes, I did that and they sent me a faulty one. I claimed a refund on PayPal. PayPal said no and said I need to solve that with the store. They store “eGlobal” asked me to send the product to Hong Kong by my own costs and that if they don’t agree they would charge me £80 for that plus the shipment to send me back my faulty headphones!!!!

Personally I prefer the sound from these, and they're more comfortable on my head.

What’s the difference between 1st gen and 2nd?

What’s the difference between 1st gen and 2nd?

QC2 is Alexa and Google Assistant Compliant - rest all the specs are the same. If it matters Bose have stopped selling the Gen 1 as well. The QC2 can be had for roughly the same price from other non UK Amazon sites from time to time, so if you aren't in a super rush you can wait. If not this is a good deal from a UK based retailer - I have voted hot.

The Alexa/google button on the second gen can be reprogrammed to allow 3 levels of NC instead (off, low, high) which is a nice touch.
Daft question but How do you know which is 1st & 2nd gen
Before you buy qc35 v2, research deteriorated ANC performance on these headphones especially after upgrading firmware. I'm in the process of warranty replacement to NC700 model (which Bose charged £50) due to this, known, problem.

Agree but hard to find for that price. I have the xm2s and they're magic
Must be a clearance?
The Sony XM3's are only about 25 quid more at Costco so I reckon I'd go with them if I was treating myself.

Hot price though Costco is risk-free.
One of the best things I've ever purchased, heat!
Why are these headphones held in high regard ?
You have access to the internet.

Not in every department as you think though.
I have them on my head actually as I type this and previously owned QC35s.
so totally unbiased and honest comparison:

in terms of comfort,Bose definitely wins.in terms of sound quality Sony wins and in terms of Noise Cancelling it’s a tie but I give slight edge to Bose.
there is a reason QC35 is still so relevant.
Sony XM3 sounds better but Bose beats them on pretty much every other aspect.

The XM2's actually have a more balanced sound than the XM3's.

The Bose are incredibly comfy. I’ve had them for 2 years and use them on flights all the time - roughly 30 flights in that time period. You can wear them for hours on end and they never hurt your ears or get uncomfortable like so many other sets work. I also think the sound is superb. Well worth every penny of £200 I’d say.
Thinking about either a pair of these, or the QC35 IIs, or the AirPod pros. Which are regarded as the best of the three?

I returned it too but for other reasons the volume is louder on my qc35 gen1
I had massive issues with video playback using these. Sound was half a second faster than the video on everything. My £100 skull candy ones have never had an issue.

Either of the Bose sets have better noise cancellation.

As do the Sony WF-1000X-M3 if you want the truly wireless type.

Are these active noise cancelling?

Kindest regards
i love these. i have QC35 gen 1 and changed my commuting experience. the noise cancellation is excellent and i have since bought the QC35 gen 2 for my gf. both excellent but as for the siri/alexa/google button on the QC35 gen 2 i wouldn’t bother. get these from costco, you won’t regret it. for those who must have the latest gadget the next generation beyond QC35 gen 2 is out so this one is now two generations behind but for the price and if you aren’t bothered with having the latest piece then this one is excellent. i’ll be wearing mine til they die
