Bose QuietComfort 20 Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones for selected Apple devices £160.75 @ Amazon Spain

Found 6th Aug 2015
XE: 228.25 EUR = 160.725 GBP
RRP is £259.95

Purchase from Amazon.es, no import fees from Europe. The price includes 5.67 euro postage fee. This is the very best price I have seen for the Apple version of these headphones. These are the new black version.

PLEASE note: these are considered the best noise cancelling earphones on the market. This is one of the reason they are expensive. Yes you can buy earphones for £20, yes you might not want to spend over £100 for earphones. Yes there are other products that sound better for the money (but dont noise cancel). This deal is for people who want or need portable and lightweight noise canceling technology.

Really? See here and filter by highest price first Hifiheadphones.co.uk

These sell for £259.95 in the UK so this deal represents a decent saving. Of course like anything you have to be in the market for this product to justify the price. I suspect a lot of members will simply vote cold because they think they're too expensive, but this is the best deal available for these earphones. It will help someone, the whole point of this site.

Good price for the updated version of these earphones. Purchased the previous version for £130 on amazon prime deal. These really are great earphones and the noise cancellation is fantastic.

That may well be the case and on price for item alone, then of course it's a good deal, but poor vfm. I have tried these for a few days and couldn't notice any significant difference from some £15 Betron ones that I got from Amazon.

And you tried the Q20 noise cancellation model, with noise cancellation switched on? You have to try to find the right ear tip from the 3 supplied in order to get the right seal. I can be sat in a noisy office, next to a cooling fan, with the person next to me chatting away - switch these on and it all disappears! Ok it doesn't make the world around you 100% silent but once you have used them for a few minutes then take them out you realise then just how much noise is around you and how much these cuts that down dramatically.

But I'm not a BOSE salesman, I don't work for Amazon and if these didn't work for you then they didn't work for you. I just don't think its fair to compare these with standard earbuds as these do alot more plus you dont have to shove them deep into your ear cancel to get isolation, which I cant stomach. There isn't an equal product for less that I'm aware of.

Phew, thought I'd missed the deal. I had seen the android version drop on Amazon prime day but not the Apple version which always stays very high or at RRP.

You misunderstood. Both cancelled noise effectively. What I meant was the Bose didn't do so any more significantly than the Betrons. No doubt they are technically superior, but I even did a couple of 'blind tests' on family/friends and they too didn't find any real difference. I'll admit some found the sound 'marginally' better on the Bose, but when I mentioned price, everyone felt they were poor vfm for the tiny difference.

I can see that they get some very good user reviews though.

I bought the QC 25 the other day from the Amazon Spain website and saved £100. The funny thing was they were delivered from a warehouse in Birmingham ! Great price for the smaller ones though, although I prefer the bigger headphones.

Fair enough. With the active noise cancellation turned off the Bose sound very average if poor, but on they work better for me than normal earphones you have to cram into your ear canal. I always find sight and sound is such a personal thing from person to person, naturally. When the first retina iPad came out I had to have one, but people I showed claimed they couldn't see the difference between retina and ipad 2's "fuzzy, looking through a bathroom window display". I couldn't understand why but its just a personal thing. In this example HD was very important to me while not so to others.

Its great we have so much choice in products that everyone can buy what they need. I really need/like electronic noise cancellation in my busy office and the bose QC20 and Q25 are the only ones that give me the isolation I need/want. I will admit I'm very sensitive to sound and can even hear the buzz from power plugs and monitors while no one else can. Sometimes I just need to get away from the world sound and escape into the music with no external distractions.

The QC25 are my fav and are very comfortable. In many ways they are better than the QC20's as they have a user replaceable battery and a removable, one sided cable. The battery pack on the QC20 can pull on the two sided cable which can become a little irritating. Im being greedy and having both models so I can use for different situations. Feeling a little flush this month I guess!

This deal is minus 60 degrees as I post.
A deal for Sennheiser HD-800 headphones at £679 is plus 71 degrees.

Well said. Contribute and forget. VFM is also important mate and that might explain negative votes. But forget that and keep sharing.
