These any good, need something with very good noise cancelling.
Sony WF-1000XM3 ear buds have some of the best active noise cancelling you can get in an earbud.

Generally speaking due to the nature of in-ear buds you get pretty great passive cancelling as long as they're fit correctly. But if you need more the 1000XM3s are what you're after!

For me, and travelling on planes a lot, I find these great. The only issue for me, is the phones are changing all the time. Most are going down the route of no headphone jack (socket). So will either need a bluetooth adaptor or a usb-c adapter. Both can be found cheap enough.
Great price if they suit your needs. I have these and the QC35’s find myself using these more due to their size.

But the volume on the Siny buds are doing me noggin in!

Why didn't they put volume control on them?!?
This are great for flying. Very comfortable so you can wear them for 12 hours easily, and sleep in them.

If you fly a lot, ditch your over ears cans and get these, they are way better.
I have these and would say they cut out about 80 - 90% of outside noise. On the plane, I could still just about hear babies crying The sound quality is fantastic and as with other comments, they are very comfortable.

I'm sure there are some audiophiles out there who will tell you that the devil made these, and I'm sure you can get (marginally) better sound quality if you spent £500+, but I've never heard the music I listen to sound better than through these headphones. I had a decent pair of sennheisers before these and the difference was night and day.

I've got the android version. Excellent headphones, superb noise cancelling. Doesnt completely cancel external noise, but enough. Brilliant on planes.
Trying to find a bargain on the android ones is a nightmare. Not sure why they justify the premium over the ios ones

Anyone know what you'll lose if these work or do you need an adapter?

You just lose the functionality of the volume button. I use my iOS ones regularly with my android phone.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Does the mic work OK? Some reports looking on the web some phones are non compatible.

You mean for aware mode ? I can’t remember me ever trying it. My headphones are at work so can’t test them unfortunately.

Never tried making calls with them attached, I will though when I can
