I believe the QC35 are supposed to have better noise cancelling as well.

To be honest, I would say that QC35 have a downside of integrated battery. You have to stop using them to charge it, also at some point it will go bad and most probably you will need to pay 50% of original price to get it changed by Bose. In QC25 you can buy rechargeable AAA batteries and just charge them before going out, change to a new one once the other one will be out.

If you don't mind the extra wait, the Apple version is a little cheaper at amazon.de
Is there any difference between these and and the Q35s, other than these being wired?

Replaced a set of qc3's with these about a month ago, still on first battery after a months use. Much much better than the qc3's

Qc35 worse as latest firmware update effed up the ANC.
Bose all the way NOT Apple
These are great - bought a month ago and no regrets. Used on train, tube and four flights so far and the noise-cancelling is exceptional. Also bought a little adaptor from amazon for £60 to make them wireless giving you the choice - works out way cheaper than buying the Bluetooth ones

It was this...
AirMod Wireless Bluetooth Adapter for Bose QuietComfort 25 Headphones (QC25) amazon.com/dp/…swf
Quality summed up in headphones if you don't mind the wired connection 😏
I believe that the QC35 is wireless (BT). The QC25 are not. Also, you need to ensure you buy appropriately for your device, ie Apple/Android as the cable volume control is different for the devices.
Bose are great if you have any problems within the warranty period. But if you have any issues outside of the warranty period the Bose normal solution is to offer you an upgrade has been mentioned for about half the cost of a new pair.

Bose do not sell any spares with the exception of the headphone cable, the carry case and foam pads they will only offer the option of complete replacement units. That’s not exactly great on £150 + worth of headphones if anything goes wrong.

I don't mind the wait... They are 169 euro which is 150 quid. However, what happens if I need to refurn them or if they go faulty?

Wow! £60 is an awful lot to pay for something like that. Although it does look like a neat option. There are items that would do the same thing for under £6.

I bought the 25s last year in the sales and on auditioning the two, found the 25s to be significantly better at noise cancellation than the 35s. It was like walking deep into a silent cave (minus the bats n sh*t). Haven't found AAAs to be much of an issue.

Better with triple A batteries was my immediate thought.

Ordered from the UK, the DE price came to £162 in the end, maybe just me but I couldn't see the free delivery option.

Would have gone with John Lewis but they're OOS of the android ones.

For me the qc25 makes more sense. Another issue to consider, if you have a phone with a decent audio stage and DAC (LG v20 in my case) you would want to use that with wired headphones.

The qc35 over bluetooth is going to deteriorate the audio slightly as they don't use aptx as far as I know, that's a bit poor on £325 cans.

To be honest battery lasts for ages on these things and if you can’t prize them off your head for 1 hour a day to charge them like overnight then there’s something seriously wrong with your life.
Had these about 18 months worth the cost as I can get some sleep in cattle class on 12 hour flights you can not use Bluetooth on planes so I prefer these to qc35

They're fine to be using during the flight, just not during taxi, take off and landing.

I recently bought a pair before Christmas and didn't know how I coped on flights without headphones like these.

I think I prefer the triple A battery, it means I can have a spare if I happen to have forgotten to charge the battery that's in the headphones. One thing I would say is definitely better on the 35 is the auto switch off of the ANC, if you forget to turn it off on the 25s, you can kiss goodbye to the battery
Best site to get an AirMod as Amazon aren't stocking QC25 version?

You are out of date my friend, the following is copied from BA website.

All Bluetooth accessories (for example wireless keyboard, headphones, etc) may only be used during the flight but must remain switched off for taxi, take-off and landing

What if you are on the way to work and you simply forget to charge them day before?! Not even mentioning flying to US for business trip and forgot to take the charger. Simple daily mishaps. Some people have life to live and I guess remembering about charging headphones is not on top of their list. Rechargeable AAA batteries can be done in pairs and since you don't have wireless on QC25 they will last double time in it, so before you try to offend someone just think a bit as it doesn't hurt as much as you would expect
