Bose QuietComfort 25 - Amazon Spain - White @ EUR 243.06 delivered to UK about £180

Seems like a great price for new Bose QC25, they appear to usually have a 15-18% discount but has gone up to a 20% discount now. Far cheaper than anywhere in the UK!
Edited as black ones have increased in price, white still available

Wow, I wish I'd waited 2 months. I bought these from Amazon Spain for £200. HOT.

Lots of people don't seem to realise that these are noise cancelling headphones so are always more expensive than standard types.
Good idea to try the Spanish Amazon

lol nice edit.

Bought these from John Lewis last month for £240. This is hot!

Have had these a few months and used on 6 transatlantic flights. They really do have superb noise cancelling properties. In normal use though, where NC is not needed they are only so-so

Are these better than ae2w? Someone please advise

This something I can't deny.

Good price, but they're poor headphones for this money.

I disagree for noise cancelling headphones there great, ive tried many different ones and these are by far the best i have used.
If you fly or use the train regularly they are well worth the investment, i find them particularity useful in bed when my wife is watching Junk TV shows
Now no doubt for audio quality at £200 there are better choices, but you buy these for the noise cancelling not for audiophile listening.

Good deal, heat added. Also noticed on Amazon Spain the Bose® QuietComfort® 20 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® in ear ones which at the current great Euro/ GBP exchange rate work out at circa £165, for those who prefer in ear rather than on ear. 27% off those.

price has gone back up to 254EU. Still a good deal though

How about B&W P5 Series 2? Not noise cancelling, but they are noise isolating. Just got a cracking review on What Hifi.

I had a go on them in Bose Regent Street shop. I found their quality very close, so I would go for an AE2W as a) they're wireless (superior connection even when you're away from the source), b) It's not safe to use noise cancellation headphones IMO when you are out and about c) AE2W are cheapest in Amazon UK so no need for the overseas shopping and d) they are awarded Which Best Buy headphones.

Word of warning, these don't go very loud. I tried them with my Samsung S4, which for some reason doesn't have a very high maximum output, and they couldn't be turned up sufficiently loud. A shame, because the noise reduction is absolutely amazing. I tried various add-on "volume booster" apps, but most either require rooting your phone or simply don't do anything (other than serve ads).

Here is the link to the item listing on Amazon UK for price comparison (and for UK reviews)

currently £269.95

Anyone who can use Yandex Market (even worth downloading the app just to take a look) has the QC 25 for about £150 and QC 15 about £110.

Do these allow you to sit in silence? Im a developer and want to remove all noise including people talking around me as it can be very distracting. If they can do that then im in.

Not really designed to filter voices, though it will do so to some extent. You'd probably be better off with a pair of ear defenders, or ear plugs if you prefer something more discrete. And you'd save a lot of money.

Generally, white noise is better than near-silence if you want to avoid distraction. White noise covers up quiet sounds without interfering on your consciousness, whereas your brain will adjust to a quiet environment and pick up the slightest sound. Perhaps a simple pair of in-ear noise isolating earphones, playing a white noise track on phone or iPod.

Oh no, IMO, the in ear ones are the worst type, on ear are also not good they really press on my ears and become very fatiguing after a very short time and they don't properly isolate your ears anyway. Over ear is the only way to go

These are great noise cancelling headphones.
Just make sure they aren't fakes, they should normally be £270

Amazon Spain are an authorised distributor for Bose. Bose do appear to somehow manage to keep their suppliers in the UK selling at a consistent(ly high) price.

I bought some Bose in ear 20i noise cancelling in Yokohama at an official Bose store. Not only were they less than £170 but they also knocked a further 5% discount off, so I agree, the UK prices seem to be higher than most places.

So I went to grab them & it's coming in at £198.84... Have I made a mistake?

Ignore... That I re-read the description. So anyone reading this... ⬆️ as I just mentioned. Just under £200 for these. Still a pretty decent saving.

ordered these from Amazon ES - worked out at £185 with delivery - took 2 days to be delivered and dispatched from UK warehouse (?!?!)...all good. Great price and a worthy upgrade over the QC15's. Happy.

very good indeed BUT no better than Audio Technica ATH-M50x's

Has anyone taken delivery of these yet? I ordered last monday, standard delivery, they were dispatched friday and due to arrive yesterday. Maybe they are held up in customs (even though no duty is due). Anyone had similar issues? Amazon said I need to leave it another week before they can do anything. Thanks

Hi, yes I received mine within 3 days - they were sent from an Amazon warehouse in Milton Keynes (definitely not Madrid!) . The service used was Royal Mail Tracked 48. Hope that helps
