Decent price here - as John Lewis are back matching Curry's price, but for a similar price with their 2 year guarantee for me JL always comes before other retailers.

Key Features
  • Adaptable Noise Cancellation – Bose have fine tuned the already fairly advanced noise cancellation found in the QC 25 and 35, adding three different settings for users to play around with. Choose total cancellation to focus intently on what you are doing, or opt for a little ambient noise, handy for navigating traffic or office situations where you may want to hear speech from co-workers or telephones.
  • Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant Compatibility – With the QC 35 II, Bose has well and truly entered the smart era. These headphones are designed with work with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, allowing users to ask questions about whatever they like, queue up tracks, curate playlists, and manage incoming or outgoing phone calls with ease. Smart assistance can be turned on or off at the click of a button on the 35 II casing, so it's not always there listening in the background.
  • Premium Build Quality – Bose is renowned for the quality of its physical products, so it's not only the internal architecture which shines with the Bose Quietcomfort 35 II. The headphone casing is made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, ensuring long lifetimes, while nylon elements are glass-filled, ensuring flexibility and strength in equal measure. Additionally, the headbands have Alcantara coverings (which is usually found in premium sports cars), while the synthetic leather earpads offer all-day listening that won't chafe or feel uncomfortable.

Specifications
  • Dimensions: 18 x 17 x 8.1 cm
  • Weight: 0.24kg
  • Audio Cable Length: 1.2m
  • USB Cable Length: 30.5cm
  • Earpad Material: Synthetic protein leather
  • Headband Material: Alcantara
  • Smart Compatibility: Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant
  • Battery Life: 20 hours (wireless), 40 hours (with noise cancellation and 3.5mm cable)
  • Charging Speed: 2.5 hours of charge in 15 minutes via micro USB
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth, USB, and 3.5mm cable

Hope it helps someone.

John Lewis finally catching up with Amazon, Curry's etc who have had these at £219 for many days now.
I've not voted but you do get 2y guarantee with JL. But they would've price matched Curry's anyway
What are these like for phone calls ?

These are reported as being better than Sony 1000XM3 for phone calls, but I would say the noise cancelling is better on the Sony

I’m looking at both and what you have said is consistent with all the reviews I’ve seen and I’ve looked at a lot

I guess it's down to what and how you going to use them for.
For me the Bose qc35 are a little too bright and could do with just a bit more bass and aren't very loud with max volume.
Sony 1000xm3 seem a little better all round and the app has some good features compared to the Bose app.
The sound is only as good as the source being used bit like the picture on new 4k TV.
