Ok so not ages but they were sub £200 twice in the last 2 days.

I have a constant battle with myself not to buy these. My point is you aren't helping. 😜

Tbh. I posted these as I thought people would prefer the comfort of buying from John Lewis with the extended warranty. Pitts and troughs.

Fair enough. Tbh though Amazon in Germany and Currys would put a lot of buyers off .plus Currys is back at 249 now so a bit irrelevant as it's not a better price if its expired.

It wasn't a deal / it was price match offer.
I'm going in to Currys today and give it a shot.

who are you price matching against ?
If you're desparate to get this for effectively sub-200 use airtime rewards to buy the equivalent value in JL vouchers from Morrisons; AR are currently offering 10% cashback on Morrisons purchases; you can redeem the cashback against your mobile bill

I’ve tested the Bose Qc35 ii - Sony XM3 - Bose 700 ... Sony has the best ANC and the best sound quality
I do like the volume sensor on the new Bose 700 it’s touch sensitive and no buttons for volume, pretty cool. I found between the two Bose, the Bose 700 had better ANC and sound quality, bass sounded more pure and not thumping or over the top.
On the comfort side, Sony can get a little heated few hours in, causing a little moisture compared to the Bose which I’d rate for better comfort.
Overall I’d go for the Sony simply as the ANC plus the Sound quality is better and the price is cheaper than the Bose 700.
