How would these compare to my QC35's sound wise? I'm tempted to buy these as a spare.

My QC35's are fantastic, great sound and the battery lasts a long time

I have the wired version, which I got for £80, I am extremely happy with them. Had I not bought those, I would have probably tried to go for this deal.

If you want to deal with Bose in store, they will match Peter Tyson - I did it with a couple of Bose items!

Cold. Better Off Somewhere Else

Did a side by side comparison of these and the QC35 in John Lewis, they sounded iffy in comparison to the 35 (lacking in decent bass) and worse than I expected from a ~£170 set (the 35s sounded very nice imo). You would want to audition them first.

Yes.

I believe they still make the best noise cancelling headphones - best for noise cancelling, not necessarily sound quality - but not sure why their non-noise-cancelling ones cost so much.

Good price, although I don't think Bose premium range of headphones is on-par with other premium brands.

Just returned my QC35 for Sony's offerings (although that's also partially due to a fairly widely reported Bluetooth issue)). Not sure if the BT issue would exist on these, also.
