Is it better than the Monitor Audio Airstream S150?

Good spot, only wish i could justify buying one! lol
Seems Amazon are price matching John Lewis, who offer a 2 year warranty,
take it Amazon is only 12 months?

Is it better than the Monitor Audio Airstream S150?

For the same price (at Richer Sounds at present), I'd go for the Monitor S300 - better all-round sound & much better connectivity too.
s300 is only for ios?

s300 is only for ios?

Used to be, but there's an Android app available now for these:…eam
Looking at these last night when they were 199 too, tempted. Is this superior for the price compared to the soundlink mini 2?
is the monitor s300 good sound ? and its wireless as well
Amazing price. Lovely unit. The lithium battery seems to need constant charging though.

If you want a more allround, clear sound, the S300 (review) (was written before the restricted compatibility issue was sorted).

If you prefer it base-heavy, then possibly this Bose (review).

There is also the S200 (review) & Sonos Play1 (review) in the same price range (£170-200) to consider.

Plus the cheaper S150 (review), which will probably do for most people.

Which one to go for might also depend on your needs - e.g. does it have to be portable (will have an internal rechargeable battery - not all have this), have DNLA, have Bluetooth + Wi-Fi + wired connections, etc, etc. So, consider all the options carefully before making up your mind.

I'm also in the market for this kind of speaker, & will probably go for the S200 as it ticks most boxes (it needs to be connected to the mains at all times though, so may not suit everybody).

If money is not an object (& you don't need portability), I would highly recommend the Naim Mu-so - also read this & this. I have listened to this speaker firsthand (in John Lewis) & it is by far the best-sounding wireless speaker I've ever had the pleasure of listening to.
