These are terrible headphones. I’m still a big bose fan but these don’t deserve the branding.
Are there any good earphones with the comfort of Bose? Suggestions above are gash, might as well buy skullcandy.
Samsung is Android though? Seems like a weird way to describe the item on their end, unless Samsung is paying them a handsome amount
Bose USA stores sell manufacturer refurbs for £93 . Just got a pair coming back from Cali. Worth picking up if anyone's on holiday or work there. International warranty included
Why not buy brand new QC35's off eBay! A load of pre-order Huawei P20 owners got them free with a new handset and are offloading them on eBay - a bargain to be had, if you already wanted them!
Also free if you transfer to first direct, might be different model.
Apologies £159.95 it wouldn't post before yeah a refurb with a 2 year warranty.
Return them then 2 year warranty
Had to return mine that I bought a few months back as the noise from any contact with the cable was unacceptable. They were only usable if I sat absolutely still. Any movement made a noise - so using them on the move (which was why I bought them) was a non-starter.
I got a pair of these for Xmas and the cable between the wire and the headphone jack has already frayed - good sound and comfortable to wear but the build quality is very poor
A mug buy
No highs? No lows? It must be Bose!
No offence meant by it. I just mean that not everybody is bothered about stuff like that. Some people are happy with £5 earbuds and some people can't abide by the cheaper and go for the the £50 ones. Different strokes.
What a comment...
Difference between £60 and £15 is £45.
Yeah, you'll find that headphones of those ranges will have different responses to the lows, mids and highs. That being said, if you're asking the question then you're potentially not enough of an audiophile to be bothered by (or even notice) the difference.
But these headphones are awful from my own experience.
Enjoy listening to music when the battery dies on your wireless ear phones (lol)
I got these from Bose and they priced matched Argos for me have receipt to prove and also gave me wrong headphones gave me lastest sport ones instead of these when I opened the bag at home
Pleased to have helped :D Used mine on the train down to London Yesterday - amazing sound and noise cancellation
Just picked up a pair in the York BOSE outlet store for £229.95. Opened them and in perfect condition with all the cables. Bargain at this price (y)
I wonder if this applies to outlets too. Planning to visit Gunwharf next week Friday, would be great if they could be had for £229.
You can switch the button from google assistance to toggling the ANC on the II's rather than having to use the app. I'm planning on picking up a pair of the QC35 II's on saturday from a local retailer who is selling them for the same price as the originals on amazon etc. (if they have any left in stock)
You can go into the shop and compare both side by side - I did
Can you send me details would love to get that deal
They will price match Bose to Argos deal. They did it for me but gave me new soundsport headphones instead and can prove it with receipt
Probably selling less due to Apple moving away from wired headphones
http://www.argos.co.uk/product/4484990 £49.99 bought these cheaper the the other day £49.99. The sound isolation is amazing for mechanical isolation. I haven’t tried the bose qc version but these are great next to snorers and they snorer will probably have to wake you to let you know your alarm is going off in the morning. Pretty comfy. The buds seem to suck into your ears causing an amazing seal.
My only assumption is that these headphones hardly sell hence why they are constantly on sale. I am waiting for a similar deal on the soundsport. Hot though
Both are really good BUT one problem with Sony to many reviews online about people saying the headband cracking even after Sony reportedly fixed the issue with better materials. I've compared the two quite a lot in terms of material and design the bose are better especially when it comes to folding mechanism. Also any issues with Sony it tends to be back to base and good luck with their customer services.
If I prefer the sound of one thing to the next (expert or not), I'm perfectly entitled to that opinion. At no point have I said any other headphone was terrible or berated anyone from choosing differently from myself. If you disagree with my opinion, that is perfectly acceptable, when delivered in a suitable manner. Going to the point of stating my opinion is wrong, is not only rude, but highlights a complete intolerance towards someone else's beliefs. I'm sure if I didn't like the taste of cottage cheese and you did, you'd not be so quick to tell me I was wrong. (Although based on your replies thus far, I'm not 100% sure). The world is made up of many different folk, each with their own taste and quirks. I'm glad you enjoy your Sony headphones and truly I hope they continue to deliver that level of enjoyment for many years to come. At the same time I shall enjoy the Bose headphones, which suit my taste and ears perfectly.
Oh and btw, neither come close to the quality of my Shure SE846's sound wise but horses for courses eh?....
Most reviews say they are the most comfortable , and leave it at that. Can't say I find the WH's hard going even after my AKG's but guess that's all down to head shape. Might be different in summer but atm I'm not struggling with them yet.
It isn't just your or my opinion to is it smarty? You tried something in JL so suddenly your the expert on it. Crack on fella, you chose wrong but it's obviously not your fault....
You would think this would be even cheaper by now or at least updated for bluetooth and or wifi!
E.g. SoundTouch 10/20/30
Yeah, yeah - if you want audiophile quality, you'll need to dig deep. There's little else at this price point that provides the same subjective experience from such a small footprint. If you don't need the CD and radio, there are options, otherwise.......
Anyone buying Bose doesn't care about sound quality anyway....... Bose tagline should read........"Bose....Audio equipment engineered by a marketing department"
They're £169 at Currys, why is that so difficult to find out? Not a great price anyways considering the QC35's have been around £250 and beat the QC25's out of sight.
I don't know who to believe
No they are not, theyre £169!
sorry mate i didnt know that if so then that is a better deal
lol these are £159 at Currys
yep was £349.96 & 3 Easy Pays as a Todays Special Value on QVC UK on saturday just gone
Yes, bought from QVC, 3 instalments last week, despatched yesterday, bargain.
It was 349.99 last week on QVC,now that was a bargain.
Cold, £20 cheaper at Curry’s and John Lewis amongst othrs
Sorry this is going straight to frozen. Is 159.00 @ John Lewis with their 2yr guarantee. https://m.johnlewis.com/bose-quietcomfort-noise-cancelling-qc25-over-ear-headphones-for-ios-apple-iphone-or-ipod/p1675189?s_kwcid=1dx43700022330608132&tmad=c&tmcampid=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4JWZ9YTY1wIVZpPtCh0R9AUlEAAYASAAEgIXq_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Receiver?...oh. No integrated amp. That killed it
Nice speakers, but how much will the receiver cost on top?
Oh dear. You shouldn't have posted this. Sleepy wife won't be pleased
Nice Price on these: Look at Canton Movie CD series, better quality and less lucca as well.
I am done with this year mate. Will have a look at 2018 BF.
I think it's unfair. I have one under my lg oled and it sound fantastic for what it is. No subwoofer so you have to concentrate on the full sound spectrum
I also like Bose but some of their products are not good. All their soundbars are quite poorly reviewed until recently. They are specialists in getting a good sound out of small things but they need to up their game in certain areas, especially at the prices they charge.
I've got to be honest on this one, I've got the bose solo 15, had it for about 2 years and it's really bassy. Now looking for the sonos playbar. A friend has it and it's no comparison. I love bose, got everything from headphones, Bluetooth portable speakers and even in my last car. But the sonos playbar is on a different scale. Try it before you buy it. I'm hoping the sonos will drop below £500 then I'm all in, as bose hold there value I'll still get £200 on ebay
Is it 20% off the whole store or one or two items
£50 on amazon ... Bose SoundTrue Ultra In-Ear Headphones for Apple Devices - Charcoal Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0117RFYDW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_1KZfAbSXCP0PY
Are these not the same as the ones on Amazon for £50 ?
Apple devices such as iPhone X
Go to get deal and takes me to the soundlink 2. Any reason for this?
Was £54.99 with free original Bose case as hot buy @costco last week. Worth to wait to black Friday...
Expired? Great price. Would have bought for kids
Would this be suitable for use in a school gym ?
Can you recommend a better speaker for the price? I am not a huge fan of bose sound myself, prefer more natural tone. This one does sound quite powerful given its size, which is a plus.
Can anybody confirm whether these work ok with windows (8.1)? Microphone included.... If anybody can test I'd be eternally grateful....
My point exactly. Regarding the volume, it could be the GAIN is low on the music file. There are apps which allow you to change the volume level, one I know of is MP3Gain.
Received mine today and they're not my cup of tea sound wise. Volume isn't loud enough with some music and the bass is flat
I hate it when someone asks me a question like that, because I think it is a matter of personal preference to a degree. I don't like too much bass, I prefer to hear the more 'hidden' sounds of a track. Some people would say Bose are $h!t, I think they're great.
What's the sound quality like? And bass
Really good idea for a worthwhile cause, have some deserved heat! :D
Well all I can say us an item I gave that's 10yrs+ has far better sound quality than an item I bought 2 years ago. Had the latest one replaced as thought it was faulty. Should have sent it back.
10-15yrs? That's a pretty lengthy decline, don't you think they'd have gone out of business during that time if they had genuinely been so ****?
Bose have excellent warranty
I'd recommend the Tibo plus 2
Their sound send to be good, but have to agree past 10-15 years gone downhill
