£15 off not 15% and in total it's 30% off the RRP with the code. Hot though

Came so close to buying but just don't really need it. Only place I would use it is when away from home for business but tend to use headphones in hotel room.

God I am so weak

Forgot it was battery powered and can actually make pretty good use of this.

BOSE are really amazing hardware !!

Good price

Bose is best if you are really looking for sound quality, they are the specialist in speakers, but makes me laugh when people say about these original audio brands I'm listening since my childhood, unfamiliar! Offensive for Bose, Onkyo, JBL, Denon, JVC. They are the giants in audio world so please do some research before posting

I'm looking for a speaker for a upcoming party

Don't want the typical big Hifi system or speaker system (won't get used much after so don't want to waste the money on it)
I have a simple boomdock but it doesn't pack that punch for a party.

I have a budget of £250 and was looking at either the Beats Pill, Bose speaker or the Sony RDHGTK17iP boom box (all around the similar price)

Has anyone any experience with either or any other recommendations.

If you need a sound system for a party why not rent a proper PA system? This would be more suited as a bedroom/kitchen stereo.

Looking for the SoundLink II. Saw there was a deal yesterday for around £150, has anyone else seen an offer anywhere close to this as the deal found yesterday is no longer available. Thanks

Are you sure the box damaged and the product itself is intact

Get a Kitsound Boom Evolution, far superior in every way! £189

Had one of these since december, the sound still blows me away, amazingly loud, deep and rich tone for a speaker of this size. Sounds better than my Sony Dab CMT-SBT300WB full Sound system which I bought at the same time for £300

In every way?

Is it more portable? = No (It's 5-6 times the size)
Does it have a longer battery life? = No, it's doesn't have a battery
Does it look cool? = No it looks like it's from the 80's

Whilst I don't mean to suggest the kitsound is no good, it is a TOTALLY different product category. The bose is marketed as an ultra portable, compact, rugged, battery wielding speaker.... The kitsound it just a great sounding speaker....

8/10 not great? I have a ks and they sound better than my denon 38 hands down. Go and listen to one i bet you haven't.

Come on, far from the best. I have Bose sound deadening headphones and a lot of listening experience with them in super yachts. the build quality isnt very good. there are far better brands out there. it's a brand way over priced for what you get, similar brands come to mind like Apple, Dyson etc..

Oh another thing What HiFi gave the previous kitsound 5/5 mate the new one sounds miles better than the old model which my GF has

Been watching the price for the Bose Soundlink for ages ! Don't yet have the funds for it, but thankfully it expires at the end of this month. Definitely grabbing it soon ! Cheers, OP !

To quote.... "Bose is best"

Seriously!? Some people are too easily brain washed with the great marketing that Bose does. I'm not saying Bose is bad as I have a sound dock. It's alright but there's better out there for similar or less money. You're paying for the name when it comes to Bose.

Bose are overrated, the sound their equipment produces is superficial and soft. However, this is the exception. The Soundlink Mini is outstanding and worth every penny.

If anyone's near to or passing the Bicester Outlet Village, the Bose store has these for £145 (I was there this afternoon, Saturday)

sat relaxing listening to my bose mini I got when it was same price back in january .. been a great purchase based on the generally outstanding reviews ... no regrets .. sleek , stylish with sweet sounds .

Overpriced - use Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver via your Hifi for £35, not a mini speaker...

Love the Hi-Fights between the audio geeks on these threads....lol

I'm tempted by this, but wonder if it's worth paying a bit extra for the Loewe Speaker 2go. Has anyone here listened to both?

I usually stay away from Bose...but I've seen nothing of this size and portability that can whack out such a powerfully bassy but fairly balanced and crisp sound. Bluetooth, aux port, charges your phone, has a power cradle. Its just amazing engineering! Obviously as an improvement id love to be able to control bass as sometimes it can overpower the detail on tracks that have been mixed differently.

Once again missing the point entirely....

So when you go on holiday or have a BBQ in the garden, or want to play music at any random place other than where your home stereo is located what will you do then? Relocate your entire stereo?

I never said it never sounded bad, I have never heard one so I can't comment on that, I was firstly pointing out it has quite a few cons on the reviews but Mainly pointing out it's NOT a mobile, Portable and battery powered device and so CANNOT be compared with the bose

These are bose units amazing, everyone who has seen my one either ordered one or wants one. Very practical and great sound.

I would love one, but I asked my wife for the Creative D100 perfect for me.

steeevo- check out the Orbit sound range for your party and still have some change from your £250!

cant fault the sound this thing makes, listened to a couple in store and been very tempted to purchase but one drawback for those who travel, the thing weighs a ton, thats stopped me buying it, its like a house brick to carry around.

The code doesn't seem to work
It says:
"Discount code SOUND15OFF does not exist"

The sound on this is amazing. Place about 5 - 10 cm's in front of a wall for best audio as the sound comes out from the rear as well as the front. Head added.

Ordered this from thurgo. Bought the damaged box one for £145. This cone with an extended free years warranty and a free gift. It came and the box was perfectly fine without any damage and sealed. I would recommend purchasing from them !! The speaker is amazing btw...arrived today and the sound is incredible for such a tiny device !!

I compared this to the a JBL Flip and also the Beats Pill. Whilst they are considerably cheaper (I know the JBL was selling for £50 recently), the sound quality that the Bose produces is significantly superior. Bose all the way (can't say that about all their products though!)

code does not work, any other deals for these about?
