loved this show, hopefully can just watch repeats on Living.

It takes a few episodes to warm to and the music in the first episode is so over the top that it really puts you off. Much better after it settles down a bit.

I found it a bit hectic for the fist episode but it soon came to be one of my favourite shows.

In case anyone is wondering, there's no need to have seen The Practice to watch this (it's a spin off) as as far as I'm aware (I never saw the practice), there was no mention to the previous show other than one of the main characters was in it for a season.

I happened to catch the end of the practice and there is a story arc at the end involving Alan Shore that's worth watching but they made a few changes to the law firm and actors who actually appeared in the new show. not sure why they never had any cameos from the practice stars as one of them was a judge now and could have easily popped up now and again

It's strange the practice isn't on dvd, I'd consider it if it was or at least the last season anyway.

Denny Crane!

Fantastic show - the ManGod Shatner is consistently on top form throughout. Denny/Alan make one of the best Buddy acts seen in a good while.
