first iv heard of it

The celebration was introduced to the UK in 1990 by the charity Age Concern. It has been celebrated on the first Sunday in October since 2008,[16] although it is not widely advertised and has not been as commercially successful as Mother's and Father's Day.

Gulivers Warrington will be full of a load of 30 year olds then.

When's Great, Great Grandparents Day? Or couldn't they make enough money out of that one.

NOT ON MY WATCH

Seems the ideal holiday to me, we're not expected to make any fuss but we get free deals.

Will ignore this pointless marketing event.
