''Want to feel old? It has been a decade to the day since The Inbetweeners first hit our screens.

The comedy is still E4’s highest-rating show ever with the last series attracting 4.1 million viewers per episode.

And it continues to be hugely popular, having racked up 86 million hours of viewing on catch-up service All 4 – the equivalent of 10,000 years. Both spin-off movies were added to the streaming service yesterday and will be available for 30 days.''

First movie was amazing!!!
Second movie was so bad..
Just release the 2nd series of white gold already dammit. Naked gun is still shown on TV and ed hasn't even been found guilty yet, so other than for political correctness there's no reason to hold off.

It would be nice if they'd make one more, make it a trilogy. Probably just about got time before they really do all look too old. Simples!

Second had its moments. The water slide !
4OD is just standard definition. I'm sure they would look great on a 58" 4K screen

Not sure about the movies but the TV series was shot digitally at 576i so it's never going to be better than SD. You won't get it in 1080p or 4K without upscaling, and your TV will do that for you. An official 1080p or 4K upscaled release might look better if they put some effort into it, but not by much and probably not to the extent it would be worth paying for, especially considering this is free.

Pooooooooooooooooooooo.

Nothing in no.2 compares to the scene in no.1 where they dance over to the girls. Still makes me giggle thinking about it.

*goes off to 4oD, just for that bit*

You're lucky then - the series are infinitely better than the movies.

I met her at a festival a few years back... Stunning in real life too. Had to feel for her, the face she made coming out of the portaloo after my friend was priceless
Me and the Mrs watched all the series and both films for the very first time only a couple of months ago and we both found them entertaining, well apart from the second film which was very poor IMO.

Strangly i was only watching the first movie again last night as i still had it in HD on the SKY box from when it was last on TV

No TV licence required.
Used to love this until the movies came out still voted hot but movies were awful
Nah the second film was better then the first.
The first film was pretty much a knock off of Kevin and Perry Go Large mixed with the worst bits of the Inbetweeners.
The second one felt like all the best bits of the series and jammed them into a film.

Weird one this - I read a little while back that E4HD shows them in a weird native res (102x576) when when they're on tv, then upscaled to 1080i, so better than DVD but obviously nowhere near full hd.

I can't believe that, in 2008, they were shooting stuff at 576i. Even professional broadcast quality full HD cameras were relatively affordable then (I bought one for £2,000 in 2009). Maybe they did the first series on a really low budget, but even that seems no excuse - and then surely they would have increased the budget after it was a hit.
The funniest scene, shot or movie, is definitely when Simon's nad is hanging out of his swimming trunks. I'm laughing now just thinking about it. My wife is giving me strange looks.
