Bottled Beers £1 each at Booths supermarkets

OK I know this is a repeat, but from 10 months ago.

Seeing the other posts at higher prices prompts me to remind people that Booths run a continual stream of £1/bottle offers. This evening I bought Marstons. Last week I bought Jennings and courage.

Generally three or four different beers.

They also had some half price champagne (£12/bottle - no idea if its any good - I'm more sceptical about wine offers)

Erm, you said it...

... it's a repeat. How's it a hot deal if the price hasn't changed in a year?

thats a bit harsh, the whole idea of this site is to bring deals to everyones attention. I've never heard about this deal. (not got a booths near by right enough but still)

Heat added,

Booths mainly Lancashire based

Okay, maybe merited, but I repeat my second point, how can it be a hot deal if that's just the price it always is?

Its a deal because the standard price in shops for a bottle of Ale is around £1.50. I posted it because many people would not be aware and the last time it was posted on here was almost a year ago. After all, the deals in Tesco at £1.20 were getting very hot - I think that they are cold in comparison to Booths.

But no problem. I'm happy for you to pay more if you don't like this deal.

Booths is a fairly upmarket supermarket - bit like Waitrose - so people wouldn't necessarily expect cheap beer in there (although someone has realised because I sometimes go in and find that someone has bought all the cheap ones).

They vary the beers on offer from week to week.

I think its worth mentioning because I'm not aware of any cheaper source. Booths are also in Yorkshire - my local one is in Ripon, North Yorkshire. (Is it the only worthwhile export from over the border? )
