Brand = Kirkland

I think it is Costco's own brand which also does coffee, vitamins and lots of other things

Yes 70 bottles

That's 36p for 2 ltrs (assuming there is no VAT on water). Netto charges 25p, Morrisons 21p and you can buy a single bottle. Where is the saving? (unless you desparately want 500 ml bottles :))

Great deal - always got a car boot full of small bottles of water for kids - does anyone know if costco have a new coupon booklet out and any other good deals

New coupon book valid until the 16th of this month - includes this offer.

Cost £6.78
Less £1.40
Total £6.46 ??? are you sure

Anglian Water charge me £1.26 for a cubic metre of water. That's enough to fill 2000 bottles which works out at 0.063p per 500ml.

I can understand if you want the kudos of a named brand water, and just about get the concept of some waters tasting a little different to one another (glacial water, volcanic water, etc, etc) although that is a bit pretemtious. But if this is just for kids to slurp on a car journey why not fill some bottles from your tap?

Are you sure this is not tap water?

I always buy these but usually in 35 case at around £3+ nothing wrong with the water just the same as well known brands.

We have this at home a lot as our water supply here is constantly muddy lately due to roadworks.

It's french import spring water - not tap water. Tastes fine, best from the fridge or car boot in this weather than at room temp.

The bottles crush down really small which makes it easy to recycle them - BUT unless you really have a use for 500ml bottles it can lead to lots of trips to the bottle recycling bins...

Confused by the price though - these are normally £3.50ish a tray here in Bristol so curious to know what the voucher actually states...

There's nothing more absurd than "branding" water... Remember when Coca Cola tried to do it?

That's a heck load of plastic waste if you ask me. Better off recycle bottles and using the tap.

They can taste the difference and do not like tap water.

There is hardly any kudos in drinking "Kirkland Water"

It's the VAT:
£6.78-£1.40=£5.38, plus VAT £5.38*1.2=£6.46
Good deal, I always buy these, and can confirm the water is French spring water

Very good price for 500ml bottles of very good tasting mineral water

Is it Mineral water, or Spring water?

Mineral water = Bottled at source

If I ever have a child who objects to drinking tap water, they'll be buying the bottled stuff out of their pocket money until they see the error of their ways.

Dasani? What a flop that was X)

Thanks op good price and better than drinking the poisoned fluoridated water forced on us by most water companies

Dasani is still sold in loads of places in the States. Every time we go to Florida we have a chuckle.:D

Great if you wanna drown yourself..lol

was in Costco today and it seemed like every other person in there was loading up on these. sure, it's cheaper than normal, but does that automatically make it a good deal?

if you need something to send to school with the kids, maybe this is decent. otherwise... i'll stick to what comes out the tap.

What's wrong with filling into smaller bottles?

This water is actually ok.. Minus the brand name its all water at the end of the day!

What's the shipping charge to Northern Ireland?X)

Are you sure this is not tap water?

100% sure. Get these all the time. I can definitely taste the difference between tap and bottled water. But unable to taste the difference between different bottled water (unless its bottled tap water obviously)

I can afford to splash out and pay the huge sum of 9.2p for a 500ml bottle

Hot because I've been thinking about making the change to bottles for years but always swayed by the tap water fanboys. My hot water is a pale white and my cold water messes my kettle up, I dare not think what all this is doing to my insides.

I think you have forgotten to add the £24 membership cost for Costco.

Why are Costco items listed on this site when they are patently not available to non-trade customers and require membership to use?

Because any decent bargain hunter has a Costco card! It's really not *that* hard to get a card.

Seriously, there are plenty of deals posted here that I can't get because the chain of shops isn't in Scotland and instead only covers the south of England.

If you don't have a Costco card, why bother to waste your time posting in this thread with that? Go for the deals you can get, and ignore the ones you can't - simples

In terms of the actual deal, I think it's great. Voted hot. I got a couple of cases of these the last time they had an offer on them, still drinking my way through them. Sure beats the 70p or whatever the local Co-op or newsagents was after for 500ml at work!
