It's bottom as in "toilet humour" as Eddie (Adrian Edmonson) and Ritchie (Rik Mayall) negogiate life with alcohol, plenty of innuendo, a bucket of gross out bodily function jokes, absolutely no romance, and lots of extreme violence. Basically hilarious. This is Series 1-3.

It wasn't funny first time around, neither on Dave, definately not on DVD. My 5-year old liked it tho.

It was funny first time around, also on Dave, definately worth this on DVD. I do not have a five a 5-year old, but I can imagin the ones I teach would like it. lol

moronic, stupid, idiotic and really funny. Great price.

I love this, found it funny as a kid, and even funnier now. Wish they would make some more!

I had these taped off the TV on VHS with a warning on them 'do not wipe my bottom'

Might get this,cheers OP

Great show, and still better than most 'comedies' on TV today.

You allow your 5 year old to watch comedy aimed strictly at adults, with violence, bad language and (not so subtle) sexual innuendo?

Well done, no really, fantastic parenting skills there.

actually Bottom season 4 is written but BBC doesn't want to make it due to the all that crap about it not being politically correct...load of BS if you ask me..

Sounds just like the BBC.

Would anyone genuinely rather watch Lambing Live or the insufferable Graeme Norton, or the equally insufferable and talentless Steve Jones, orange-faced, jug-eared unfunny autocue reader Gary Lineker, or that god-awful Geography-teacher-desperate-to-be-"cool" Richard Hammond?

Bet they'll commission another series of "comedies" like Grown Ups and 2 Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps though, both of which are about as funny as standing on a plug, barefoot.

Your license fee: worth every penny.

Rant over... heat added.

+1

Just a shame that the BEEB own the title and the characters, otherwise I believe another channel would have commisioned it. Just glad Dave have not tried tho, cos I think the new Red Dwark was shocking!

Wonder who ae going to make it? Hope it is the bbc.

Hot from me

Great series, but iirc, there's at least one episode in series 1 that has been dubbed because of its content; I think Richie makes a remark about "gypo's."

I remember trying to beat the system by getting this boxset from the US, but the discs were also censored :x

It got changed to "Thieving Yobbos"

I must say, I expected a lot more from "The Furry Honeypot Adventure".

You obviously don't have a sense of humour.

Bottom all the way - the live shows are fantastic (well, apart from the last one)

or Big Jugs? A history of pottery in the nineteenth century

i love this show and what a great price it is for a great series

If I didn't already have the USA version I'd buy it.

We need more toilet humour on TV.

Come back Rik Mayall.

What about Richie an Eddie in a remake of 'Whatever happened to the Likely Lads'.
That would be funny:-D

I'd cheerfully fork out £20 for a complete box set full of extras but my understanding is that this is just the shows unless somebody can correct me. My twopennethworth: awesome series, in top 5 sit-coms ever.
