I wonder how these compare to the Schneiser momentum 4's?

Almost was going to get Bose...then saw the Sony X5's, then heard the momentums have better sound and now these bad boys!??

No idea about the Momentums, but they look terrible now. Like a cheap Bose copy.

These are better sounding than the Sony XM5s imo. Saving pushes them down to the equivalent price of the recent xm5 deals. Half the price of the 8s too

You mean the Bowers and Wilks PX8's?
    Wonder how the compare?

I agree, never thought my XM3's or my XM4 buds sounded amazing, considering all the hype.

My old B&W pi7's sounded better, as do my Kef Mu3's, and that's without touching the eq. Proper grown up sound quality.

Just waiting for my XM3's to die before I reinvest in new cans.

Thanks for posting and heated up

This is a weird site sometimes. £70 off, cheaper than any other site or shop, 4.5 or 5 star rave reviews, and it's cold?

I think sometimes people just vote something cold if they happened to get a competing product for cheaper. Yes the Sony's are cheaper often. Yes they are worse...

The Sony's are not worse. The B&W are slightly better in sound quality, no question. But the Sony's are lighter, less clampy on the head, have softer ear cups and better for glass wearers, better noise cancellation, better call quality and much better touch controls than the B&W's horrible clicky unintuitive buttons. The B&W software and functionality is also occasionally glitchy compared to Sony's near perfect execution. I tried both and unfortunately sent the B&W back despite them looking a lot nicer than the Sonys.

In short, the Sony is a better all round portable can. The B&W is better looking and better to listen to if you purely use it inside the house for short periods of time. But then you might as well get some wired cans.

Agreed I have these bought at launch from Harrods for £315 they are great Bluetooth headphones. Having said that wired cans are better, much better.

Are the S2 any better comfort wise than the original PX7's? I had to return them due to the excessive clamping force on my smallish head!

I've fallen down the rabbit hole and looking at the PC 8's now....going to get expensive!
