Found 1st Jan
Excellent price for a bottle of decent Islay single malt whisky.

Cheapest ever price according to 3 camels (it has been this price before but not since June)

Probably the last thing on people's minds today is booze but snooze and you lose!

As far as I'm aware delivery is free (with or without Prime) since it's over £20

It's def not been that price for ages on Amazon - been checking malt prices every day over Xmas period. Good call on Asda though

Are you not mixing it up with the NAS version: Legend?
It was this price briefly in Asda because I paid £30 last month and the next week it was £25. Went back up to £30 not long after though.

I love a peaty Islay malt, but this one was probably the most disappointing one I have tried. Smoke only seems to hit the palate very late and no great character to it. Others may disagree but its not one I will be buying again.

Bowmore 12 is only a Medium peat but had plenty character, i find it to be a wonderful balance and a fantastic drammer. A no brainier at this price. Love they still use their own maltings which provides employment and an authenticity of product. The only real disappointment is they have not stopped using E150 coloring which should be left in the past.

It does have good reviews so plenty would agree with you on this. Just my opinion and im by no means an expert.

Compared to the bottle of Caol Ila 12 i've been enjoying this Christmas, its way behind for my personal taste.
Finished mine off over Xmas. Not bad but not special. Just wish Bowmore would do a non chill filtered higher strength natural colour dram.

In no rush to replace but glad I tried it
Was a penny cheaper in October and November on Lightning but today's price is about £4 less than normal.

You're confusing it with Bowmore No.1 which is a newer NAS version designed to replace the 12yr in Supermarkets where they can regularly sell it at £25. Also as prevoiusly stated the equally NAS Bowmore Legend has been £25 for a good run recently as well. This is the 12yr Old which is much higher regarded than the Legend/No.1 and is a really lovely dram. Amazon do drop it to £25 a few times per year (and it was £25 as a Deal of the Day sale twice during the Black Friday period), but I would advise anyone thinking of sampling a "smoky" whisky to jump on this because it's sweet and mellow smoke-wise and thus perfect for Whisky newbies looking to expand their experience.

If you can't even spell whisky I don't think you should be commenting mate.

I'm not confusing it with with No.1 or Legend(£20 - £22 in december) ... Bowmore 12 was £25 since beginning of december at Asda and price matched by Amazon

Yeah this is what I might have typed if I could have been bothered. Well done

Aged statement is usually an indicator it’s a better offering. Like the tallisker

I checked on camelcamelcamel before I made my post and that site confirmed that the regular listed price was £29 from Oct 30th until around 20th Dec, where it rose to £34.84 until this new drop to £25, so while you're not mistaken on the Whisky, you are mistaken on it being £25 at amazon for a good while now. Perhaps you're a Prime member and it's been £25 since November on Prime? I can't say. I know I ordered a bottle for £25 in their Black Friday sale when it was part of their Deal of the Day though.

It was £25 in October but only on a lightning deal which don't usually show on camel.

So I take it you limit yourself to wholly owned British companies when it comes to beer and other spirits as well? What about grocery shopping- do you apply the same logic to that as well?
