love this peaty smokey malt - great price
This was 19.99 on Black Friday but there was some issue with my delivery and Amazon won't replace alcohol offers (but will other items) at the same price, so heat for getting close.

Bowmore 12 year old is £25 in Asda; I can't seem to find any direct comparisons between the two. This won some silver award this year, but suspect they didn't enter the aged variety.

My gut tells me to go with the 12, and maybe get an extra one or two for stock, single malts seem to increase in price by 5-10% a year, while my money struggles to make 1% in the bank. Plus I can't directly drink money.

buy a bottle of Longmorn 16 if you want an investment bottle.

I bought the 12 last week from Asda. Paid £30 so was nice to see it £25 a few days later

Im a bit disappointed with it to be honest. I love Lagavulin 16, Ardbeg 10 and Caol Ila 12 and was expecting this to be a smoky, peaty treat. However, I found it lacked character and the smoke only comes very late. I haven't tried this one so can't comment, but I won't be buying a bottle. You may love it! Each to their own
