Great price for a great product but suspect a misprice; get them if you can!

Thanks OP

I just saw the picture and thought it was a toaster!

I've no idea what they are though.

Fish finger maker!

From the marketing material it looks like it's for splicing cables together. One cable goes in one hole, another in another hole and boom connected but with extra safety over say a knot or solder joint. They'd be a suitable alternative for these:

Bit of a niche thing but they could be useful to someone... in fact they'd be useful for one of my projects if I hadn't already ordered like 5 different parts to get around this problem :P (4 pin molex to wire to ring connector to a bunch of stacked brass standoffs to another ring connector to a female header to connect to a GPIO pin... eesh)

Ah I see! I do recognise those plastic thingys.

These are fantastic. I use these or the twist on type for joining cables. So much easier and neater than the connector strips!

Do they fit in wall boxes? They look quite big.

£15 now

They are very small, perhaps 2-2.5cm ish cubed.

These are brilliant, I've used loads for fitting downlights, wall lights etc - much better than faffing about with tiny screws in chocolate blocks!!

I usually use them in a metal junction box or plastic IP rated junction box. It keeps the connectors safe and its easy to "maintain" if needed. Also good for light fittings (but not sure if you are supposed to use them like this).

Great deal, but price has increased whilst in shopping basket.

Cheers. They just looked pretty bit for putting in a single wall box, but actually would be about the same size as 3 small blocks.

£15 now so I will stick with the blocks!X)

I just used these last week, and to be honest I will never go back to the old junction boxes. I got the starter kit and junction boxes from screwfix.

Price seems to have gone up :-(

Also I believe these count as a permeant connection for the sake of the regs, connectors don't! Bonus.

got my 4 boxes of 50 today, very pleased!
