Isn't this actually £679.99 - 15% = £577.99?

How does this get down to £543.99?

10% quidco. Interesting but it's as Acer. Partly mitigated by the 2 year warranty.

Yep same, only just upgraded from my 4 year old Acer ultrabook. Literally had no problems with it, only upgraded as needed something faster

Almost everything on here is an affiliate link.

Bear in mind this has the 7th generation Intel processors, not the new 8th gen (which has 4 cores instead of 2).
Good laptop and price, Have some heat
I wouldn't buy another Acer bc they have a known fault with their screen ribbons breaking all the time and a genuine Acer ribbon cost alot to replace. You can replace with cheaper screen ribbons but they only last a few months.

The 15% off looks like it applies to all Acer models on the website.

The Spin is the cheapest I can see with the i5-8250u - will work out to be about £100 more than this model:

uk-store.acer.com/spi…rey
It is not a bad deal at all, for me it ticks my default needs. If one can live without dedicated graphics, can't go wrong with this build.Nice find.

How will this laptop do with video editing? Is it more than capable?

I would think this would be fine although you can never have too much CPU, memory and storage for video editing!
Doesn't say anything about IPS screen on the link....

Only really just seeing the 8th gen mobile CPUs being rolled out. 7th gen is still well up there for a few years yet.

Deal no longer works. COLD

That's because deal was up to 11.59pm on Boxing Day. Your comment was made on 27th December. So it's not cold, it's unfortunately expired. Subtle difference.

You can try and polish it how you want, it's expired so the deal is invalid. It's C-O-L-D
They had 15% off for laptops above £600 for a week or so this month. This will probably be back again.

True that. Though, I think most have the sense to back out and use Quidco / TCB for many purchases.

With that said, HUKD must rake it in with Amazon referrals.

True although TCB and Quidco are just huge affiliate sites where you get a bit back.

Really grates me given Quidco is supposed to be 100% cashback. They aren't exactly short of a few bob and take a look at the dividends the directors of TCB receive.

Yes, it's an expired deal that reached 475 degrees, so certainly anything other than C-O-L-D

Are you voting every expired deal as cold?
