I agree but they are still a good deal for a pair of school trousers, particularly, if like my boys, they are one of the few places which fits them properly.

I have usually paid full price, because other places like tesco etc, never fitted properly. I have just had 14 pairs delivered for under 30 quid. Did pay on my credit card though as I wasn't sure if the administration situation would guarantee I would get my items. Took a week, but they all arrived:-D

So you reckon these are much better than the supermarket versions then? Any idea how the sizes compare, big/small? My little boy is 4 and tallest in his nursery year but generally still wearing trousers that are 3-4 yrs at the moment. Start at age 5 for Sept term?
Considering stocking up on 3 of each size for the next few years!

Thanks for this - I've just ordered 3 pairs of trousers and a pack of 3 polo shirts for my 4 year old for £10.78 inc. delivery as buy one get one half price offer applied to all these too! It's mainly age 4 that's out of stock so went for age 5 for next year!!

My boys are VERY thin/lean (don't know who they take after LOL) and whilst they are the just below average height, need a slimmer fit, which these seem to be. Even when the adjustable waists are pulled to the smallest possible, they don't seem to look too baggy round the waist. When my youngest started school and was just 4, he fitted the long length age 3. He is now in Year 2 and has just gone into age 5 (he is now 6and a half).

I suppose its horses for courses, but mine have all lasted well and washed really nicely. My only niggle is that the hems come undone with almost every pair! They have definately lasted better than the NEXT pair which I tested and I'm a big fan on NEXT trousers, but school ones didn't get my vote. Hope this helps. Niki

Thanks so much for that. Ordered about a dozen pairs in various sizes, will wait and see how they fit. My son's really skinny as well (just like me...not) so hopefully they'll be perfect.
