This went up to around £100 on other sites a while back, but here it's cheaper than I paid when I bought it a couple of years ago...

Comes with activated carbon, bio balls, pump, filter and light. Just needs a heater for a tropical setup. The description says it comes with a fan as well but that's with the marine model... must be a typo.

Makes a nice change to see a half decent sized tank on here instead of the usual crap beginner sets that people will likely kill their fish off quickly by overstocking!

Ideal for storing petrol. Hot!

Can't stand seeing fish in tanks. They belong in rivers, seas, and ponds.

Same with animals in cages / hutches / etc.

Sorry. So for that reason alone, I'm cold.

you obviously don't understand the whole point of this site

and as for your daft comment, for example i have a red tailed shark, they are "critically endangered" i'm pretty sure even if they weren't "critically endangered" i still wouldn't see one in the wild and i don't remember seeing any neon tetras in the river around here

you think we should live in a world where we don't see these things? if we didn't keep things in cages/tanks etc people like you would have an empty life because you'd have nothing to write crap about online

Your right fish are 'below' rivers and ponds and water in general really, except when they're flying fish.

But putting animals in cages 'below' water would be very cruel, and I would suspect the RSPCA would have something to say on your opinion.

I prefer them next to my chips myself but thats not really the point

Sid, I think you mean "You're". Best not to make a typo when criticising other people's typos, eh?

fish have short memories anyways so I doubt they know theyve already done the same short lap 10,000 times already.

I dont agree with birds in cages because wings are for flying with and to deny them that basic right is a bit sick imho. Bit like restricting a human from walking.

Hey duuuuudes, I'm after a good tank for Axolotl's. Buying the eggs so I'll need something to house from babies to adults. Does anyone know if this would be suitable?
They're cold water so the cooling fan with this would be ideal I think.
Does anyone know the dimensions of this tank? I can't find them on the site.

Axolotl's may be better off in a tank that's wider as opposed to higher. But that doesn't mean this tank would be bad... the filtration system is definitely ideal for them, it comes with 3 large filter sponges. You'll need oxygen in the tank as well... the eheim 100 is a pretty good air pump that can be had for ~£18

paulockenden, voting this deal cold because you believe fish should be in their natural habitat is pretty dumb. Have you seen how overstocked pet shop aquariums are? People buying aquariums is much better than them not as the fish would all die from stress in those tiny tanks...
I have one angelfish in my Boyu, he's away from all natural predators, fed twice a day and water changed every week. He's around 7 years old... so I'm fairly certain he's happy and not missing the ocean.

Thanks for the advice mamboboy, is there any decent websites other than this to get decent tanks that you know of? That aren't going to bend me over on price.
I'll definitely look into the air pump.

I used seapets.co.uk/ to get my 120 litre tank a couple of years back. It was a really good deal at the time and the service was pretty good too. Not sure if it was a one off though but might be worth a check!
