Diesel - 105.9

Cheapest I've seen.

Ps. Remember about nectar points.

Should soon be below a £1.

better very late than never....

If you are in croydon. IE brighton raod the esso garage has a 1 day offer today Diesel @ £104.9

Shame not all garages including supermarkets are doing this, with oil prices the way they are, and overall costs, this should be the MAXIMUM people should pay

Haven't seen it drop below a quid yet. But I have to ask, when did diesel become cheaper than unleaded?

It's been for over 3 weeks now I think. It should be always like that as it is cheaper to produce diesel than petrol.

Oil prices went up 3% today so may not reach the less than £1 target!

Cheers China!

I have always found BP to be expensive compared to other fuel retailers. not sure why never seen a BP fuel station to be competitive.

My local BP is still 115.9 for petrol the swine. Heat + though.

Wow BP selling fuel at the same price as other companies!? I'll never give them a penny of my money purely because they're robbing f***ers.

Though arguably tax should be higher on diesel as it's so filthy, diesel cars are higher on company car tax I believe

I can't believe it will ever go below a quid after the garages invested all that money in new pricing signs which have a extra digit now!

Petrol/Diesel prices in North used to be cheaper than South. It's opposite now a days.

My bp is 11ppl more than asda 6 miles away, yet they're always busy. Can't understand why people allow themselves to be robbed.

Just live knowing you know better!

Also. Some people say time is money. A 12mile round trip to save a quid may not be worth it to everyone

BP garages always top price in Sheffield.

Many companies issue company vehicle drivers with BP fuelcards so they have to buy it from there and as they're not paying they wouldn't care anyway.

I'm in France ATM and it's €1.07 = 76.5p for Diesel.

BP must be hurting if they are lowering prices! Think about the greedy shareholders suffering a lower dividend at the end of the financial year!

yeah and think of the oil & gas industry towns like mine who are suffering with constant jobs losses because of the oil price drop

Think the BP's that are not owned by BP are competitive, the ones that are owned by MRH or independent BP's generally tend to be cheaper. One near me was always 3-4p more expensive until it became independent, now it price matches the sainsburys and tesco its in between

The price is determined by supply and demand and so it should be.

If Georgie Porgie decides to add a penny, it goes up... don't think he will at this time.

Base rate of fuel is around 60p per litre so if it goes near that then the oil companies earn nothing as that is the UK duty rate fixed +20% VAT , so work it out.

Not sure how you can afford to fill a tank up at those prices. I buy fuel about a 100 times cheaper around 106.9p...lol!

Filled up last night for 107.9p/l petrol in Exeter (Texaco Heavitree), diesel was 106.9p/l though so not as cheap for that.

Given that the tax on petrol and diesel are the same then we can rule out that as being a factor in the differences between the price of the two fuel types.
