Good price at 50p, but at 20p......Hot

Great price, any idea if it's national?

Original Poster

Not sure if it's national. The small pic in the corner is one of the plants.

Sorry for leaving my cap locks on, it's my first post so be gentle. Just spotted them in the reduced section section, amongst a load of dead plants.

very store specific

sounds very good!

wow~great price!

I have a Lily in my life already (my 21 month-old niece) so I'll have a look out! Though I'm in Glasgow

I guess they are all wilting right?

Anyone confirm if these are in other stores around the country?

Hot - but I'd imagine this is store specific

Great price and even better if cats don't like them. Fed up with cats sh!tting in my garden!

found loads in ipswich b&q. best time for a bargain is early evening when they water them before closing as they take the wilting plants off and mark them down. i got loads of plants yestetday for £15 when they should of cost £80.

Amen to that! Damn things. I have a neighbour on one side with five and another the other side of me with two. My garden acts as their communal toilet. And to the naysayers; no, they don't bury it, it's doesn't rot down, orange peel, bottles of water, cd's on sticks, anti cat plants, pepper etc doesn't work and I dont give a stuff if it's only their natural behaviour LOL

I second that, I have had the same issue for years... my neighbour has 5 cats and they destroy my vegetable plot and flowers with crap, attack my fish, worry my bearded dragon, and leave calling cards on my drive!!!

B&Q always mark plants down to a very low rate once they start to wilt. There will be a didicated shelf for them. Most of them work out fine so it's a great way to get your plants on the cheap.

I like cats - it ain't their fault that they poo it's entirely natural - but why do their owners think that it's OK to let them out to wander and poo in everyone elses garden, harass the tweety pies and make neighbours gardens unusable for their children? If I see it happening and I'm aware who owns the cat then I've been sorely tempted to return the poo to the rightful owner via their letter box - Ha Ha
I'd get a pitbull with AIDS to sort them out but I don't feel it's right as there's nobody around in our house to look after it all day!
Anyone got other practical solutions that I can try to discourage cats pooing in my garden?

Please tell me how you're supposed to stop a cat from jumping in your neighbours gardens to poo? It does annoy me when my neighbours cats come and poo in my garden but I have a cat also and it is quite embarassing when I see her jump over and poo in someone else's as I know how annoying it is. I can't do anything about it to stop her. I have tried keeping her in to use the litter tray but as soon as we let our dog out (a rottweiler and when she's out the cats do run away) she's striaght out. I wanted her to be a house cat but she has other ideas and hates being in!
So how do you figure it's my fault she poo's in someone els's garden and how am I supposed to stop her?!

i bought a sonic cat deterrant, it wasnt cheap about £20 from wilkinsons theyve got then on amazon for £17 but it worked, no cats in my garden now!

Jessica516 = fox

Milk and aspirin...now there's a thought....

Voted hot, just asked the mrs to look in the local

Hi it was the Ransomes one. The area to find them is near where they have the flower pots. You'll see it as soon as you walk outside.

Having lily's in your garden will not stop cat's going in. If you're a cat owner you shouldn't have lilys because it will poison your cat if they eat any. If they do you must rush your cat to the vet ASAP as it can be fatal.

I had two cats who made it to their 20th but no further, died last year. It's strange but the whole neighbourhood seems to have had a similar situation all cats got old and died and now there are hardly any left. As a result their is now a pigeon infestation the likes of which has never been seen, and millions of small budgie and tit and finch and robins and black birds and all sorts. For a while it was interesting watching what once was not possible here and seeing the hierarchy of the bird world but now i have to say the bird **** is just 10 million times worse than any cat poo. windows, roof tiles, decking, patio , garden everywhere everything covered in vile swatches of poo and its nasty stuff esp the pigeon crap. I now detest them all they crap wherever they land no wonder they get disastrous
epidemics etc if left to their own devices they would cover the world with **** including their own food supply. I can definitely see the dinosaur in them. Give cats a break! They eat stupid dino-birds and are clean. If they dont bury poo they werent litter trained properly. Our miserable neighbour feeds birds continuously and now there is a RAT! i chased it with a broom across the patio this morning its a fast ****.
Think yourselves lucky is what i say. The pigeons are so stupid they sit in the grass sunbathing they would become flightless in no time left alone. So..i harbour dreams of a giant fanged maine **** unleashed in the dumb-dino-remains to do them all in hahaha! and i dont care how much it poos.

Better still, mix lily bits in with the milk and crushed aspirin......bingo....your very own pest control!

No lillies in mine (Edinburgh Hermiston) but picked up some fruit trees for 2 quid each, nice.

I bought some of these at the Sidcup B & Q and if you look at the receipt you'll see that there's a multi-buy discount, buy three and get £1.50 off. They are still scanning at £4.98, then the staff apply the 4.48 discount and then the till adds the multi-buy. If you'd bought another one you would have got them free.

I have the answer.

CAT NAPPIES.

Now to Dragon's Den.
