With a 2 litre pot, suggest about 6"dia, so pretty compact I think

Nice deal

surely the value depends on the size!! how can you say that they are currently 2 for £30??? these are probably tiny for £5!

I don't know the size yet as they aren't available until tomorrow, however a 2 litre pot would normally be around 30cm diameter. They grow 1-2 inches a year

It's a Buxus ball in a 2 litre pot

Love these I'm stuck in work as well bet they have sold out by tomorrow in Liverpool

Anyone knows how to properly care for these?

I bought one a couple of years ago in an outdoor pot. It turned yellow slowly over 12 months or so and eventually died.

box blight maybe?

Last pair of balls I bought from Tesco slowly went yellow and died, but might try again.

Lidl have a pair for £15 in 22cm pots - not sure how this translates to litres. Or Aldi have 30cm plastic balls for £9 each.

they may have benefited from having their compost replaced and some grow more added. Make sure they were waterlogged or too dry as well

Good find

Stupid question... can these be taken out of pots and planted??

Not really a gardener but these would be perfect for the front garden.

Yep I've got a few shaped in obelisks. I'll probably buy a couple of these.

They are the really small ones. You can get the 22cm-30cm that are usually £20-£25 each. I expect these are 8-10cm. I've bought them before from B&Q for about £8 (few years ago mind). They are hard to look after. I've had a dozen over the years in various sizes (in pots and planted in ground) and they only last a few years.

Just bought some & there were quite a few others buying at 7.30am too ! They didn't seem to have many either.

Just bought a couple - they're about 20cm tall / 20cm wide.

I rang before hand to make sure there was any in stock, the girl said "yes, there's about 20, but be quick cos they're selling out fast." Drove all the way to B&Q, (six miles there and six back) got there nice and early only to be highly disappointed! No, they weren't all out of stock and people were not snatching them off each other as I had imagined, in fact, it was quite the opposite. These 'ball' plants are not even ball shaped nor are they as big as they make them out to be in the pictures. They're a very messy bush type thing that I would glady pay money for to have removed from my garden. I half heartdly picked up one thinking they're not that bad really, only to put it back in the end and walk out of B&Q empty handed. A waste of petrol and definitely false advertising.

sold out in Newry just to save anyone a wasted journey.

Got 30 ... perfect for what i need them for

Had to go to 3 B&Q's tho...

I went this morning to buy two they are tiny!!!!!!
