Just had an email through B&Q club card and if you buy both the drill and the drill bits together, you get it for less than the price of the drill.
Drill £50
Drill bits £10
Buy together £37
Saving £23

Quite a good deal if it's something you're looking for.
Online and instore I believe.

Seems a good buy!
Been reading some posts from past HUKD deals for the same drill, & find I may need something little more powerful/substantial - can someone please suggest the next model up, or other brand for a reasonable price?

£50 sds from screwfix will bash a hole in most things.
Great deal. This drill always available for £35/40 from somewhere (Argos/Amazon/b&q previously) but the drill bits aswell make it

Got this deal earlier in the year. Drill has tackled all of my needs.
prefer corded hammers. good deal.
People who have no diy knowledge, please bear in mind this drill is mainly good for drilling wood/metal.

For drilling trough brick/concrete you want a sds rotary hammer.

What about a little job, 4 holes? What about with another drill bit? (sorry meant to say, for slabs/concrete)

For little job, three inches deep, with decent drill bit you should be ok.

The moment you need to do some more drilling, through entire wall, in an older brick house, it will make you work harder for it

I suggest you can get a sds rotary hammer and for odd wood/metal work you can use a chuck adapter for classic drill bits

Rotary hammers can be used in drill only mode too (as well as hammer only and drill+hammer)
Can this be used to assemble furniture etc?
Or is it just for drilling through walls?

Sorry I don't have a clue about drills

Best for drilling wood/metal

For assembling furniture get a cordless drill (which is meant to be used for driving screws into wood/light duty wood/metal drilling)

I've got this drill. With good Masonery drill bits (I use Dewalt Extreme) it's fine for most walls on a DIY basis.
