A cheap and cheerful way of updating your doors at home with some doors that look the business at a fraction of the price of solid oak doors. I know veneer isn't for everyone, but have used these doors before and they really do look cracking. Special offer only on this size door, but they do have other sizes available. Oh and you can plane 5mm off each side - so make sure the sizes are going to fit properly.

Traditional raised panel oak door contains engineered components for greater stability with solid oak veneers.

Thank you for putting picture on!

Delivery charge varies though doesn't it, depending on your proximity to a store.

If you buy 7 doors (what you will have in an average 3 bedroom house), then the total is £279.86 which is over £250 and qualifies for free delivery, which isn't too bad. You could always make up the order with other items if you want, or you could just collect in store. :-)

me too

some similar to wood. My dad does the oak doors. This size costs about 300 pounds.

Don't buy if you need to plane too much off otherwise you'll go straight through the veneer. It usually says what's the max you can take off the sides + top/bottom in their instore catalogues, no info online though.

Hi, completely agree. I have been into store to check out these doors again over the past couple of days and the wrapping says you can plane 5mm off of each side as mentioned above. HTH :-)

Borrow a van and fetch 'em.

Bought 4 doors tonight, so many thanks to shy2406.

The price on the doors was £69.99 but they scanned through at £39.98.

very good price. veneer are much better than solid, much more stable, so will always close properly.
