They look slimline on the picture but the one review on B&Q website does say it is bushy.

Yep - seen it now. Good deal with the 25% as well.
COLD - I've noticed that cheap trees always shed their "green bits" all over the living room floor.
is this a Noway Spruce or a Scots Pine?

I'm only saying that these type of trees usually shed their needles. Much better to buy artificial, saves cleaning up the mess.

Bought one of these last week at full price. Bit fiddly to put up but it is a great looking tree. It is bushy, the picture doesn't do it justice. I was going to buy a shorter bushier one but this is much nicer. Great price, sure to go quick. And the "green bits" didn't shed at all. My previous ones were a nightmare for shedding so I know all about it!

WTF? This is an artificial tree????
oh well it would be nice to say so, I've updated the title for you. :p:{
this MUST be cheap for a reason. You will probably need to water this everyday to keep it alive.

That escalated quickly
We have this tree, bought it at £50 about 3 yrs ago, its a nice tree, doesn't leave too many bits and is bushy. Well worth it at £26.50.

YOU updated the title to artificial THEN said it would need watering....and I'm not a girl. How rude.
Just had an email/newsletter from B&Q confirming the Ops price.
On the look out for a tree. Can anyone be so good as to recommend a good one ???

The fact the feckin thing is on a metal stand should have given away the artificial element - duhh.
Can anyone explain how to get the 25% member discount please?!

Yes, this one. I bought this tree last year for £45, it's a fantastic tree, that photo does not do it justice at all. The tree is much bigger than it looks in the photo. It takes a long time to put it together, you have to attach each branch, matching the correct colours. It's well worth the money.

clever boy, full marks for observation. Shame you weren't as observant in English class when they explained the defintion of "sarcasm".

Dead easy. I just went to the customer service desk and I signed up on the spot on their computer. Was emailed my membership number which I got on my phone straight away and then used it at the till 5 minutes later. There's no fee for joining, it can't be used in conjunction with their trade card tho.

You reverted to 'sarcasm' as you've put it, as a pathetic attempt to cover up your error. Nae luck.

It depends what kind of tree form you prefer. I like the fuller tree, personally, and think the Cones & Mixed Tips Christmas Tree from B&Q at £45 looks pretty good: Click

For anyone who hasn't seen the tree it's excellent value at this price, we've had ours for 2 years and is very bushy, no straggly bits at all. If you are after a tree 'Buy It' you wont be disappointed.
I set mine up yesterday and it wouldn't stand straight. I had to pack part of the base out with little folded up bits of cardboard!! Otherwise it looked like the leaning tower of Pisa!!
How do you know there's 25% off this weekend for club members? I haven't had any email and its not on the site?
There's definitely 25% off as I bought this tree at £50 minus the 25% today. Cheesed off now so will be going back in the morning to speak to customer services if this really is down to 35 tomorrow.

Anyone know if they will just do it the easy way and refund the difference or am I going to have to buy one tomorrow then get a refund using today's receipt?

Looks great though! Tall and bushy, no gappy bits but does have a slight lean to it
