There's a review at the bottom of the page:

"All the sticking power of a Post It note
Totally useless, fell away from internal surfaces within hours and barely stuck on at all to both bare wood and painted surfaces. Totally without merit."

They could of been trying to stick it to a surface that wasn't properly cleaned. Probably likely. Or a uneven wooden surface thats been painted and not cleaned.
Worth a go for the price if near a b&q. My house is new build and the draft through the front door is crazy. Makes the hall and landing freezing. Not to mention the air vent in the downstairs toilet (pointless coz there is no shower/bath to create steam) lets in so much cold air! Need to find a decent cover for that too if such a thing exists!

Some Poo's can create steam you know. May be worth considering this before blocking the vent.

Id like to know this too! The vent in my barhroom lets in sooo much cold air pointless even having the radiator on
I'm assuming this is the same stuff in a different package that I bought from Wickes, which worked extremely well on PVC to block the gap in double glazed doors when closed. But that's probably an ideal surface, it didn't strike me as something that would affix to everything.

If the vent is removable, as a temporary measure slip a piece of card behind it to at least partially block it.
Isn't it building regs that all WC rooms have to be vented?

I've got some duct tape over it at the moment, but cold air still gets through. You'd think the vent would be closed when not turned on, but seems to be completely open to the air.

Might well be. I'd imagine the builders wouldn't have bothered if they didn't have to. I don't understand why a regulation would exist if there is no shower or bath in the room.

Another one which is probably a building reg is the vents on all the windows. Even when the vent is closed they let a lot of cold air in. Got a few of those blocked up too!
Stuff out of the pound shop sticks good
Does it work around peoples bottom to stop the draughts?

Sealing up all the 'drafts' in a house can lead to condensation and mould. However, I'd rather take that risk and save the energy bills! When I put a cloakroom into an older house recently the building inspector said it should really have a fan vent but he was OK to accept a window with an opening light.

If it's a new build - get them back out to sort it...
These are good ( well I dunno about this one from B&Q) but after we installed these our house became so much warmer and the energy bill was like £40 smaller every month, over a year that's almost in £500 savings!
Not bad for £2 initial ''investment'' + £60 to get an expert to install it.

Yes my thoughts too. My parents house doesn't have window vents and they are fine and mould free.

Yes maybe I should have done that, but we moved in six years ago and its a bit late now. Don't think it would be covered by NHBC.
I put these on internals doors in my house for the rooms I don’t have the radiators turned on.

Your door hinges should be adjustable....

If you post a pic of the door and the hinges - I might be able to tell you how to sort it...

I
Extractor fan or vent??? Blocking one of those will result in you home becoming a pile of ashes!
