Another one from the 'grapevine'. Knauf Eko roll loft insulation at £14.50 if you buy 3 but the price applies across all 3 sizes so you can mix and match. Looks like it's working online so should be in store as well. Might not be for everyone but looks like a good price.

Do you mean for installing under the floor above a void? If so, you'd need some kind of fabric to staple between the joists and allow this stuff to rest inside. I looked at doing this but in the end went for solid insulation boards that I cut to fit between the joists.

Anybody in the know have any sort of idea how many rolls i'd need to insulate a standard garage roof as thinking about making my garage into a room.

This is £14.50 per roll if you buy 3 rolls not £14.50 for all 3.

Used this to top up my loft insulation on a 15yr old build, positive it made a difference

You would really need insulation board to meet the u-value to satisfy building regulations.

Has this item a further discount using the trade card?

Be careful if external garage might have a problem with damp , see... locostbuilders.co.uk/vie…755
It's 14.99 at Wickes for the 100mm, minimum is one roll. Not cheaper but if you go on Mondays it's 12.75 any other day 13.39 with discount.
But for the bigger thicnkesses this is a good price.

No such thing as a standard garage so you'd need the width x the length to get the area, then for building regs you'd need minimum depth of 270mm. If it's a cold roof you'll need to leave 50mm for ventilation. Your joists will not be that big so you'll need to use PIR or fill them with rockwool and then use insulated plaster board.
