This seems incredibly expensive. I paid £243 (delivered) last month for 74 sq m and that was the most expensive turf the supplier did

Aren't those rolls supposed to be 1 sq m? I'd say buy locally, bought 30 sq m for 3.50 a roll, £105 total a month ago
I bought locally for £2 sq m in greater manchester

This is very expensive for such a small amount (maybe it's just because of delivery); £270.00 / 100 m² my local supplier from earlier this year

Check with the local lads, I'm sure it will be cheaper. Always check a random roll before accepting delivery - this applies to B&Q or any supplier.
This is definitely not £1.00 per roll, more like £6.47 assuming a roll is a square meter.

If it was a pound a roll, a roll would have to be about 15.5cm squared.....

Looks good!

I'm in a relatively new build property and the grass is awful which I suspect may be due to the clay soil. What are the chances of success if I took a relatively lazy approach and just tossed some top soil over the existing grass and laid this over?

Same. Interested to know same thing
Need 30 square meters and my instincts tell me this deal is kind of expensive. Voting cold
Cold, use local much cheaper
Just for clarity, there is no web link for 1 single roll. So I picked the cheapest option from their website. Its £1 for approx 1m2
