Great deal, I was looking for something low powered (and to fill a gap really) - the central heating does the work but these will be a quick little room warmer for occasional use - good spot OP - thanks

Anyone know anything about the Murlo Wall hung fire - any good?

I got the Emily one as a replacement for the broken one ...at £40 it's a bargain and got the standard years guarantee

Just purchased one of these this morning lovely fire cant wait to put it up and on tonight

Thank you for posting. Ignore the negatives. It has really helped some people.

Stupid question, but do these need any electrical skills to fix or do they just plug in and work?

Nabbed the 'Emily' silly not to at this price.

Anybody know what the stove output is, if it's got 2 settings and if the light or flame effect can be used independently? Thank you.

Hi,

It has 5 controls, 1. Thermostat 2. Flame intensity adjustment 3. Fan on (so can just be a cool fan) 4 & 5. The two heating elements

So it can have the flame effect by itself, the cool fan by itself, one heating element (900 watts I think) and two heating elements (1800 watts).

It's not the strongest construction in the world but light and small so can be moved into a room and plugged in v quickly.

hope this helps

Is there a buld in the fire for the flame and ember

I bought the electric stove for £40 looks great bought for effect and occasional use my 81 year old father was first in yeovil b&q to buy me one as soon as they opened bless him x

Does the Emily fire have a moving flame effect

just bought this fire and for the price I must say I am impressed so far it has a remote control, lovely flicker flame with different brightness compact size and looks more expensive than it was

Thanks, I got one!

Spotted this late last night on B&Q website, thought I'd have no chance since they'd already closed for the day, and wasn't sure on stock. Decided to get up early this morning, arrived at store (Castleford) 10am and they had at least 20 of each still available. Bought the electric 'Emily' inset fire to replace an old gas fire with brass trim.

This one does

Be careful If you buy a 'Blyss' Electric Fire from B&Q, they will only work with the remote control so if you lose or break it it won't work. Emailed them about replacements and they said they have to contact the manufacturer in china...3 weeks and still waiting for a reply.
