Saw these in B&Q yesterday while looking for electrical stuff. The last one of these we bought we paid £9.98 for it, and despite the negative reviews on the site I have never had any issues with the ones I have had.
Only replacing the last one with this as it got bent out of shape when the floor panel from my new shed fell on it during one of the recent windy spells.

Do you think by cutting the end off this could be used with a paint roller even if it had to be taped to firm it up.
Deal heated anyway as it's a great saving.

Oooh, need a new one of these. Now just need to get to B&Q!

Yeah I said to myself when I got home "why didn't I get a few?"!

These look identical in the pictures to the ones sold @ tesco for £4 - and I have a few of them in my garden. Sturdy and much better than some of the cheap tat sold as washing line props imv.
Good deal @ £2.. Heat

Bargain! Ordered one for me and my mum! Thanks op! Heat added

Reserved thanks

Thanks! My old one keeps slipping down, and doesn't lift washing line high enough, so thanks!

Just buy a 9 or 10 foot length of 2 by 1 and cut a notch in the end.

Ordered. Just need to get some sun now!!!

Does it work in snow?

Thanks v much, need a new one as my last one snapped in half, it couldn't take the weight of the washing. (It was from Poundland)

Could that be bought for £2 though, and also how many people have a car or van that is 9 or 10 foot long? There's also the fact that it would rot after a while when you consider the lovely weather we get in this country :-)

Heat added, thanks ordered 5

LOL. I was just sayin'

Just been to B & Q to collect - thank you for posting

reserved one. Thank you

I bought one of these today and after about an hour of modification, I removed the plastic end and inserted (with a split pin to secure) a GoPro mount so now I have an extendable GoPro camera pole. Bargain for £2 and works a treat.
