Couldn't find it on searching but cheers for the heads up. I'll expire it.

I don't think this should be expired. This is simply mentioned in a post in the other thread, and from the title I wouldn't have looked at it. This should stay.

I bought one on my way in to work as I wasn't sure how long they'd last. The sign did say they'd be gone by 6th September.

DON'T EXPIRE, please. How are people to find this in the other thread?

This is a fantastic price for a quality item. I just reserved one for collection, so thanks to the poster

BTW, its not only instore. I ordered online for collection. You should change the title.

Cheers guys, I'll not expire it. Just here now in Lincoln and there are loads of them @ £29. I'll amend the title when I get home

Great price, if it's anything like the 500RE (which is the model I bought a month ago), it's small, lightweight and does it's job really well.

Thanks OP. Just got one from west Hull - about 10 out on shelf

I have a similar but slightly older model of these, and the main problem is the chuck locking button is really hard to operate,
you have to push it so hard it hurts!

would be interested to know from anyone if this one is better to use

Yoohooo. Angryman81 from Lincoln. Good to know someone from the city i reside in is on here(might sound a bit corny to some) i was plannin on poppin into b n q this weekend so i'll have a look. Does anyone know if these come with a carry case

Ordered for collection thanks

Just ordered and will pick up later today

bargain .....thanks

great-just ordered

All reserve and Collects will get canceled or you will get a phone call saying cannot reserve.

Picked this up earlier to replace my old (6 years ish) Black and Decker cordless as the batteries for that are more than this and for the odd jobs I need a drill for I prefer having instant power rather than a dead battery!

650 watts.... Would need more. Looking for more powerful einhel or draper for same price

einhel or draper

HAHA !!! Youre having a laugh !!!

Drill Depth - Masonary (mm): 12

12mm... is that right? I'm not expecting to bore straight through 4' of brick with a cheap drill but 12mm seems very little.

Wrong Daniel, we went and collected ours this morning in store with no problem at all, happy to say! Great deal.

I just picked one up from B&Q Parkhead, Glasgow and they had loads of them!

Saw this posting last night & just back from buying one at B&Q Peterhead.
Still Stock there also, beats the old battery one I was using which lost power after very little use ( I'll stick to cables Thanks)

Just picked up on from B&Q Greenwich. Still plenty of them.

Thanks, been after a corded hammer for a while.

Absolute joke! Reserved this product yesterday. Just checked and it has gone up from £29.00 to £59.98!!!! Not much of a sale. I could of collected this yesterday if there had been more info such as time limited offer. Hugely disapointed in B&Q cheap marketing ploy that has only served to annoy this customer!

It's sounds right, the drill bit "base" diameters are hardly ever bigger than this size, the heads may be bigger especially if you drill into wood, use a circular blade cutter or for masonary use a core drill bit. Its more or less standard, look at any domestic drill.

I did buy this for my brother-in-law as a present. He loves it, really powerful, does everything he wants from it. Thanks OP

BTW this is not a commercial drill, so you cannot use it for hours on end all in one go, it will burn out if you do not pause to rest -so would most of us
