Ordered, been looking at these. Thanks

Exactly the same ones for £5.00 in co op for the set of 3. Found in doncaster. Should be national

Thanks Op, just what i needed. I have this set already, but my other half 'accidentally' put them in the dishwasher, causing the plastic window to crack. I've had to put sandwich bags inside them to stop the sugar and coffee coming out (_;)

Ordered ty x

Ordered these not long ago, flimsy and not of quality you expect from Brabantia.

Thanks OP. Good spot. Sure they can't be as bad as some are saying.

Thanks. Does 1.4l not sound MASSIVE to anyone else?

Theyre really good ive got these x

They are sold seperately on Amazon too quoting 1.4l :
Dimensions: height 17.5 cm, diameter 11 cm, capacity 1.4 litres. I read somewhere else that one of these will hold a whole 1kg bag of sugar. Saves a bit of messing around with a part empty bag!! (_;)

I know it's not like for like, but may be of interest for those who like the "shabby chic" look, and near a Tesco. My local Tesco Extra had these for £1.50 last night (Tea, Coffee, Sugar), were £6 each originally:

leave the sugar in its bag in the cupboard, more work space and a tenner in your pocket.

not really
dimensions are listed and anyone over the age of 12 or so can check the volume roughly from that

I've got these and find that the bottoms not water tight and sometimes the sugar has soaked up spilt water sometimes... Look great though!

I got these and within 6 months the Windows had cracked : -(

Volume of a cylinder = Pi x Radius squared x height

Volume = 3.142 x (5.5 x 5.5) x 17.5

Approx Volume = 1663 cubic CM

so 1.4l - will be per container not all 3

** Just thought I would clarify it ** (_;)

BTW - we have the ADDIS ones ad they really good quality at similar price... Brabantia are not just a name, quality has gone.

Got these quite a while ago and never had a problem with any cracking, moisture getting in etc. Would deffo buy again if i ever needed too. Good price

These are rubbish the window in 2 of mine have cracked too,I only pay bought these a year ago and payed a lot more.

false prophet

I put sugar in an old 1kg jar. Doesn't look as stylish as this but it saved me £10.

I put tea and coffee in empty Asda measure up diet shake tubs. With some labels I've added they don't look too bad really. This is what they originally looked like. Saves them going to landfill.

They may have a flavour seal lid but they don't have one at the bottom, ok at this price, but wouldn't buy again.

Had these a few years now, they look good and there still in one piece. They are not air tight so the sugar gets stuck to sides but it's not a big deal. I'm thinking of getting another set at this price.

These look great but don't keep coffee and sugar airtight enough and so they go lumpy. Had a set some 10 years ago, and complained to brabantia, who replaced with different style.

Recently needed new set, and thought they would have sorted the problem, but alas, they still have same problem!

If you don't believe me, just try filling with water and you will see it pour out the gaps.

i use the tins millicano etc come in - they are always half price somewhere!

if you have one close by, you can buy an almost exact replica set of 3 from Robert Dyas for £6-8.
Look virtually identical, with same window, but no 'Brabantia' written on it.

Have had these for a few years. Look nice but coffee always gets damp and goes off so now keep it inside a jar, inside the container. Sugar and tea bags seem to keep ok though.

Don't know if I'm missing something, but £10.49 for three essentially metal 'tubs', doesn't seem like a very good deal?

Why bother putting coffee into those plastic tubs? Just leave it in the coffee jar it came in, looks no worse?

Ordered! thanks OP.
Hope you er, get un-suspended soon!

For coffee, invest in a quality aluminium Illy can when they are cheaper and reuse at will.
