£68 for a bin? Jeez. COLD.
....rubbish
Sorry doesn't go well with you're name!! Lovebargain. Cold I'm afraid.
I prefer a 60l bin! Thanks
i just love these epic fail deals which are a bit like the multiple tins of chocolates posted @ Christmas. Getting bombarded with "rubbish" bin deals today as a couple got some heat

The guarantee/customer service are brilliant! Life time guarantee. My bin is 12 years old, quickly replaced two lids in that time - no quibble, no charge. Still looks like new! I would recommend highly.
You know the council give you one for free right?
On a side note welcome to HUKD and well done posting a deal. I have a feeling this one wont take off but keep trying
great price for 60 l one. I paid £50 for 50l one and was happy. also brabantia customer service is amazing. sending u all new parts for free.

Ugh how nice keeping four wheely bins in your kitchen or going outside every time you need to use a bin. Ridic.

Great Deal Thanks
Unfortunately people voting with their opinions rather than actual cost of said product, not for me but you can't get it cheaper any where else, heat added

Absolutely agreed! Mine's only 5 years old but they be been brilliant
Unfortunately, that is how voting is supposed to work!

The best "Deal" is a subjective view of anything to do with the product thread (such as the merchant's past history, the non-guaranteed cashback, the colour/dimensions of the item, any comparative products, the day of the week, whether the member voting had run out of butter for their morning toast, or anything else connected/unconnected with the "Deal"), apparently.

A previous thread of note...

Can we please have the rules/guidelines on Voting made more clear??

Specifically, hotukdeals.com/fee…0...

If you are cold voting a deal, it is good forum etiquette to post a note … If you are cold voting a deal, it is good forum etiquette to post a note in the deal as to why you have done so. There is nothing more confusing to a new member, than to post a deal, only to see it go cold with no explanation. If you found the item cheaper elsewhere, please let us know where and how. If you have no interest or knowledge about the deal at all, please don’t vote cold, just move on.HUKD has systems in place to detect serial cold voters, and it may lead to a ban from the forums, as it is against the code of conduct.

Also, "Cold Voting", & the ironically-titled "EXPIRED - Can you get banned for voting cold too often?" (created by a member that is now banned).

There is a whole lifetime's worth of discussion(s) on the subject:

Interesting!

Though I personally disagree that's how it should be. When someone takes the time to post the best deal on a superior item, in this case a bin, it shouldn't be voted cold because you can get a cheaper plastic one or 'a free one from the council', that has no resemblance on value whatsoever

I also disagree you can compare an iPhone with another product, as it uses a completely different operating system, it isn't comparable to an android product, it's different

But guess that's just my opinion

I also shared that viewpoint before many discussions about how the site is supposed to function; hence why I share the information now.

You may note that this is not documented within the "Help" pages; that is still ambiguous as to what constitutes the elements of a "Deal". It is entirely subjective & left to the reader's interpretation.

PS. For the record, I have a Brabantia bin in my kitchen & would buy another, if required.

Fair enough I've got the 30l reserved at argos from the deal a few days ago, wasn't sure it would be a little small hence the search for a 60l but can't justify the cost. Anyway cheers for the info
