Just a heads up, this is an awful cheaply made kettle and you struggle to see the water level without tilting.
Very surprising for Brabantia, took mine back !

That's coz they make bins !
Put a donk on it
I have a different version of brabantia kettle, with selection for different temps for each drink and its been amazing through the 3 odd years ive had it. still performs perfectly through daily use in a hard water area. hopefully this shows they are decent quality.
I've had this for weeks now, it's perfectly fine.

It just shows yours is decent (or lucky). I had the same one and the thermostat or something went and kept switching off after a year - had to press and hold the temperature button for it to boil. However, I appreciate there are always individual cases of good and bad, but I do think for the rrp, the quality is not there.
I would love one of these but don't have a Morrison's near by. Wonder if anyone will price match?
Bought this kettle start of Jan for about £60 so the price is very good.

However, my one seems to have any issue with the lid opening mechanism. Basically, pressing the button down and then releasing results in the lid actually opening about 25% of the time.

So it becomes a bit comical and frustrating as you stand there poking the button in various ways trying to get the lid to flip open...

Might be just my one but I assumed it was some design fault. Or me and the misses are lacking the magic touch.
