If you can make it to Costco before the end of today (new offers start tomorrow), they're doing the 60m version without pegs for £42. You still get the cover and metal spike!

That's a great deal, but most people aren't a Costco member x

Do you know what the quality of the Lidl one is like? I looked in a Lidl store yesterday but the store I went to did not have it in stock. Unsure if the store did stock them, as there wasn't a place or price notice for it amongst the other non food deals.

I may try looking at another branch if it is a good rotary airer.

We bought the Lidl one on Thursday and it seems very good quality at £39.99 with cover and a screw in spike. Plus you get a three year g/t. It replaces a John Lewis one that to be honest has lasted well but comparing the two the Lidl looks more robust- time will tell.

Many thanks for your response. I'll try looking in a couple of other branches for one.

A bit off topic, but does anyone know if the £20 airer at Wilko is any good?

I did have a look at this one because it was half price but to be honest compared to the Lidl one it looked less robust.

The wilko minky one broke in 4 weeks, the one before (same) broke in 8 weeks at the clasp both times - that's why I've given up on cheap ones and gone for the great reviews for brabantia
