Think it's been much cheaper before?

your not actually suggesting to me that I could have bought this bin for 150.00?
Does it take itself out? :-D

60.00 I can understand if you have just got a top spec kitchen fitted.

Good reduction in price, though - if this is a true RRP

I think it was the 30L version that was cheaper, but I may be wrong?

OK my bad  - think i must have been thinking of the 'automatic opening' one?

Think we better get our scarves and gloves on and prepare for the frost! ;-)

I bought one of these a while back for considerably less than this, so cold from me. Also, and this may be of interest to people that do own a Brabantia bin, my lid started sticking and the bin wouldnt open properly so I e-mailed the company and received a replacement lid by return. The bins have a 5 or 10 year guarantee and they happily replace bits that fail.

I have been wanting a 50 litre Brabanita bin for a while but i havent been able to find it cheaper than £60

Makro have a 50 litre Brabantia in their current MakroMail for £39.99 + VAT (ie £47) but its Black and white. They regularly do the metal ones for around that price. Go to their website and check out their MakroMail catalogues (its in the non-food one) makro.co.uk/ser…tml

I got mine from Amazon for under £50. So at this price I wouldn't bother

Thx for the info kingy58, i have repped u. Unfortunately I want a silver one as it looks alot better

Got my one of these delivered from amazon in january for £33 great bin though.

this bin was £33 before christmas and my order was cancelled as item was "out of stock" and was told they wont be getting any more- dirty amazon

I got a stainless one (with free 3 ltr stainless pedal bin inc) at xmas from amazon for £25 with code. It arrived with a dent. Complained and got a replacement - this also had a dent. Be carfull - check out item when delivered!

I got one with a dent as well but Amazon would not replace it as no stock, and did not know if they would get any more stock in - yeah I thought:roll:. Gave me a refund no problem though including £9 return postage once I reminded them.

Lets face it this IS a good deal as it comes with a 10 yr guarantee included, this would cost you less than £6 a year!
If you bought a cheaper alternative with less guarantee for half the price you would only end up buying 2 of them anyway over the 10 years
I rest my case.

For info, they honor their guarantees without making you jump through hoops.

Broke the lid on mine recently, (my fault as I forced it) and they sent a replacement lid free of charge even though I didn't have proof of purchase.

Ordered it when it was much cheaper just after xmas (under £30 i believe!). Complained and got a £5 voucher out of it though, which made another bargain order a bit cheaper too! Still need a new fancy bin though...!

You miss the point. It comes with a 10 year guarantee however much you pay for it. This price is high; it has been, and I guess will be, cheaper if you wait and look around. So my advice is wait, pay less and get a 10 year guarantee, unless of course, you've got rubbish piling up in your house and need to throw it ASAP!
