Bradford City Adult season tickets for just £149. Cut off date 05/07/2015

Found 7th May 2015
On the back of a fantastic season which saw the defeat of Sunderland, Chelsea and Leeds, Bradford City have slashed the price of an adult season ticket by £50 quid. Makes a mockery of some of those clubs in the Premier League and The Championship, whom do not always put their customers first.

********EDIT: Forgot to point that for each adult season ticket, an under 11 is entitled to free admission. Subject to a £5 administration fee.********

The Bantams have maintained their commitment to making football affordable for their fans after confirming season ticket prices for the forthcoming 2015/2016 season.

Supporters over the age of 16 - adults, senior citizens and students - will pay only £149.00 - that is £50.00 cheaper than last season's adult season ticket price.

That amazing price works out at an average of only £6.50 a game for fans attending every match, significantly cheaper than any other club in the local area and offering arguably the best value anywhere to watch professional sport in the UK.

Don't get me wrong this is a great deal, but the above comment is a bit out of touch. You can't honestly expect premier league season tickets to be around £150? Completely different level.

If you want a similar situation of a club looking after their fans but in the Premier League then take a look at Stoke. Season tickets still the same price as they were in the championship plus free away travel to all 19 prem away games.

Props to Bradford, Stoke and Blackburn who look after the fans.

Yeah, fair enough statement. At a time of rising prices across the football community, it is truly excellent to see any club reward it's fans, in terms of a price reduction, to reward loyalty.

Welling Utd is my local town club and they only just survived in the Vanarama Conference. I got into an argument on twitter because I said the £250 ish season ticket was too expensive. If these smaller clubs want more fans going along they have to take measures like these. More fans and more support can only be good for the club. Fair play to Bradford!

Nowt fantastic about beating us its a regular feat for most clubs (_;)

Watch them lose 0-6 at home again!!

Well played Bradford City FC, looking after your fans.
Prem clubs take note!

The trouble is that the sums don't add up as the reductions don't encourage enough fans to come to make up the shortfall.

Bradford have been doing this for years and attendances are nothing special. Without cup runs they'll just have to keep selling their best players like Wells.

Teams outside the PL rely on gate receipts for the majority of their income so, generalising, you need to decide I'd you want to watch better quality or pay less.

For premier league teams, where most of the money comes from TV deals, they can afford to reduce prices but the demand is there to not have to. Plus if they do it will be another nail in the coffin of local lower league teams.

Try telling that to Big Mike up the road

Why not? Most premier league clubs make most of their money on sponsorship and hospitality. Sure, they are entitled to charge more but prices are stupid eg cheapest Arsenal season ticket is near £1000

If other leagues can keep prices down then so can the PL and some of these clubs like Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern Munich are far richer and get more turnover than PL clubs

great deal, if reading charged this I would sign up but alas £395 to watch us lose every week, except the fa cup, is not my idea of fun

oh I forgot. thanks for the easy 3-0 fa cup win - was expecting a tough game but your team didn't turn up - guess small squad and too many game and knackered. Great manager.

Good deal but please don't go on about your cup exploits virtually no teams from the top 2 divisions play their first strength teams any more in the cups, they are virtually dead since Man U pulled out for a bigger money game a few years ago.

For those of you that don't know, the way it works is if you spend £149 on a Bradford City season ticket, you'll be throwing away £149

Damn you. Twas a huge let down but I'll take a 4-2 win versus Chelsea any day

Flaming good deal.

I was at Gresty Road on Sunday as my partner is a Crewe fan. Thanks for your team beating Crewe and helping us to stay up. You would have thought Bradford were the team that needed the points to stay up. We have reduced our season tickets to £249 but this is an even better deal. Good luck next season.

Bradford City hahahah funny as ****. I'd rather support the UKIP and be illiterate

Is it football or Hotdeals that generate these smart arsed cheap snidely comments.
Come on girls leave your handbags at home and judge/comment on if this a good deal or not!

Brilliant deal, more clubs should follow suite and look after their fans like Bradford are!

Attendance is always decent, second best in league 1 only to Sheffield, great away support too. They're league one but it's a premier league stadium (not pitch though).

Super price. Might get a ticket, will see how much the flexicard still is

Still £50 but the half price ticket will be £12.50 and not £10. ST price means that if you go to more than 8 its worth getting

Flexi's are £50 but matchday admission remains at £10 per game for those with a flexi.

What I'm saying is that the increase attendance doesn't make up for the cut in price. Will the gate go up by a third to cover this cut?

The attendance figures will also include all those free under 11s who are included regardless of if they attend or not.

Not knocking the deal, just that for football league fans cheaper isn't always better.

Good deal.

Incidentally, who do you support?

I thought 249 was a good offer to watch Coventry city play but the price of this is crazy. Great deal for the Bradford fans

Great deal - if you saw the atomsphere being generated down at Valley Parade these days you'd go just for the atmosphere. Fans tremendous all season. We sing if we win, we sing if we draw, we sing if we win.

He just said, UKIP and he's illegitimate.

Excuse me, but don't you have to pay extra, to watch cup fixtures?
Still cheaper than my home town club, Stockport County; £10 per match and I am a Norwich fan!

As a Swansea City fan I can honestly say the Bradford fans at Wembley were the best I have ever seen! Good deal, good fans.
