Brand I never heard of - OUKITEL K10 4G Phablet - BLACK - £188.17 @ Gearbest

Had an email from GearBest this morning and this phone caught my eye simply because of the power of the battery and it has got NFC to boast as well.
CPU: MTK6763 Octa Core 2.0GHz
Display: 6.0 inch 2160 x 1080 pixels FHD+ screen
As far as I can see main downside is, OS: Android 7.0 and may be gimmicky dual cameras in the front and back.
and it is called a brand I never heard of, OUKITEL K10 4G Phablet - BLACK
Price : 188.17 and Promo ends in: 6 days

Gearbest is a Chinese seller, so you might be liable for tax and other charges.

Thanks, HankHandsome. I only post it because of the size of the battery and still managed to forget to put it in the description, what a genius.

283 grams!!
I certainly wouldn't dismiss Chinese brands, many are establishing fairly decent reputations for themselves. But the best part of £200 on a brand I've never heard of direct from a Chinese seller? Thats a risk too far for me!
That battery tho.... 11000mah?! Seriously? Or is that a misprint? Plus 6", 6gb RAM and 64gb ROM at this price seems pretty tasty...time to check out some reviews (textured back look gash tho)
Since the OP forgot, the battery in question is 11000mAh !!

Means the handset will weigh a quarter of a ton
I have heard of them and tempted but reviews mixed. I worry about they have all the sensors for satnav as using phone when cycling as satnav one of my main uses so I got a 2nd hand lg g5 from music magpie ebay with 1w month warranty for 170 as can get new battery. But oukitel definitely on my radar
Unbox Therapy did a video on the earlier model that "only" had a 10,000mAh battery ..

I uses to have a oukitel and my mum currently uses one. Really can't argue for the price of them they're superb.

I remember when phones weighed pretty much that much by default!

I wish phone makers at the high end, and consumers were willing to put up with 50g of extra weight for a battery life that isn't rubbish!

That's the one I'm typing on now, had it on pre-sale about 7 months, can't fault it.
That's the only reason I've not bought this one (yet) the sat nav is bang on.

Sure it's not a dictation of Alcatel?
Wow! We've got this far into a thread and some idiot hasn't reminded us that this is a Chinese retailer selling a phone we haven't heard of so there's no warranty and potential import tax to be paid!

They must either be sleeping or hanging out under somebody else's bridge today
Btw, heard of the brand and has good reports from Previous handsets
Dual SIM AND memory card as well
I love my Oukitel C8, purchased it from this HUKD post Oukitel C8 £30.56
I'm on the Oukitel k6000 plus now and its really good for the price but no NFC which they k10 does with 6gb ram im so close to ordering one

K6000 Pro here and love it. Dropped it a couple of times and not a scratch on the screen (2 dings on the metal back though !).

Looks like a bargain for those who pay that much for a phone, my guide is £120 max every 2 years and squeeze any extra life after that, so £5 a month, not a performance geek, or a badge snob, but like good battery and reasonable specs.
