Cheaper to lease a new one every two years than take the four year option.

BTW are all the prices plus VAT?

You didn't do well in math, did you?

Unfortunately, I think kids are gettting taught in schools it's "Math" nowadays, as this is what my 13 year old nephew calls it

We'll be calling pavements "sidewalks" and roundabouts "rotaries" next

I really want to see one of these lease deals that makes financial sense - I just can't reconcile paying £4,700 over two years to drive a 1.2 - and then at the end of the two years being left with nothing -

vs

paying, say £7000 for an Audi S4 like this: Audi S4- driving around in a 4.2 for two years, and then at the end having, maybe at least £5500 remaining.

Granted - a catastrophic engine or gearbox failure charged at dealer rates would spin the comparison in the lease's favour - but still...

I've seen a few 2 year lease deals on here that are less then the depreciation in two years.

However I'd like to see more 3 year deals to properly compare because I believe more people who buy new keep a car for 3 years than 2.

Just a shame the dealers who sell these lease cars on prefer to do so with a year warranty left.

The 1.2 TFSi is a powerful engine @ 110bhp, not like the old 1.2 engines barely pushing 50bhp
3yr deals are available & Freedom has one for £167.99 + £1007.94 down

I really need to find a realistic deal on a lease car with 30k mileage per year. The jump from 20k to 30k in pricing is never proportional.

The main plus point is not having to mess around with the resale or repairs of the car which can mount up quickly especially on cars that were expensive when new.

Drive a 10 year old car instead of a new one, that's where the finance deal comes in to its own. If you're happy driving a 10 year old model then fine, some people also like the latest model. So your example doesn't relate to this deal as it's not like for like.

53 mpg,,,, no thanks

Sophie Raworth would get it tonight!

Ultimately though, you still lose because you'll be an Audi driver.

You may as well just burn the money and jump off a castle into a bin. You'd be better off and better liked.

This is a terrible deal because I can buy some shoes for £20 and walk everywhere, or get a bus, or stay at home unemployed and not go anywhere.

I hate this site at times for people making false value judgements.

If you've got a car allowance instead of a company car, and a requirement to have a car of a certain age, leasing makes more sense than buying. Though again, you could probably just tell your bosses that you'll get the Megabus and be there a week on Tuesday.

Buy a ten year old Micra and drive it for a while first. Trust me you'll thank me.

I doubt very much they are being taught it, it's not even a word in the english dictionary.

What is class as business lease? I mean what proof has to be provided?

Generally the 1 year free insurance has its limitations. I doubt you would get it as a new driver

How much is this on a personal lease

Say, does all lease or fiance deal come with free insurance? Example, 24month deal give me a 2 year insurance as long as I pay on time without a problem ?

You don't want that S4 though. You want the 2009 B8 S4 with the smaller engine, the 3 litre V6. Granted it doesn't sound as good, it makes similar power, but it's supercharged so it makes more torque. The main reason however is a simple remap makes the B8 S4 into a 400bhp+ snarling monster that is virtually as fast as the RS4.

0-60mph in about 4.2s. 0-100 in 9.5. It would scare the poop out of a new Carrera S or M5

As for this A3, it's a good little car but this engine is pitiful and the 1 series/Golf is far better to drive. The deal is ok.

You'll need to be a VAT registered business is my guess. Whatever the proof, tax avoidance is a crime, you need to pay VAT on this as a consumer. The price for personal should just be this plus VAT, I don't really understand why they put £call.

superb deal

Generally speaking only 50% of the VAT can be reclaimed on a lease car.
