Yes, this isn't one for you Apple Haters, but for all of you that aren't and are looking for the all singing all dancing iPhone 5s I have looked at all of the O2 3G Refresh plans and this one represents best value.

It is also from what I could see cheaper than any other of the major networks on launch day.

You get an iPhone 5S in either Gold, Silver or Slate Grey with the following:

Your Airtime Plan:
Unlimited Minutes
Unlimited Texts
1GB Data
£17.00 Per Month.

Your Phone Plan:
You'll have a one-off cost of £169.99 and 24 monthly payments of £15.00.

Total Cost £937.99

Don't forget possible cashback via TopCashBack of £73.50 (correct as at time of posting).

Time to buy for all you early adopters?!

looking good

after using an s4 wouldn't go back to apple until they change screen size

Sloth/Mod

I've corrected the total price on this deal as i'm getting a total of £937.99 and not £529.99

You have £32 for 24 months plus £169.99 upfront

was just about to post the above !! you beat me to it , lol

total price payable for the phone is £529 but ONLY when you pay £17 a month for your aitime plan so £937.99 sounds in the ball park without doing any maths of my own.

You should perhaps edit the main description too as it's pretty confusing;
"You'll have a one-off cost of £169.99 and 24 monthly payments of £15.00"

This is an absolutely ice cold deal by the way --- I simply cannot understand why anyone would chuck so much change at a moderately updated iphone. Amazing.
(All said whilst eagerly awaiting delivery of my sim free yellow Lumia 920 - £205 from Tesco!)

Assuming you don't get the £15 for the first months airtime back, it works out £5 cheaper than getting it from Apple. Plus you'd get it sooner. TCB will only pay out after you've had the airtime plan for atleast a couple of months.

Sorry, that should be :

Wasn't there something round a little while ago (in a previous op's post) about being able to cancel the airtime part of this contract (under O2 refresh) and just pay for the phone (in which case it would be cheaper than Apple direct) or am I dreaming?!

it would work out at £530 but locked to o2 and they wont unlock straight away well they dont usually

dont forget o2 open as well 25% off airtime contract only

cheapest 3 deal is £37 a month 2 year contract £99 upfront only black instore though

937 for an iphone that will be dated in 6 months when iphone 6 is launched and you will be in a 1.5year contract still LOL
please
I am going to sell my note 2 now and use my s2 for a bit for the note 3 to come out then buy back

How does it work though in case someone reads this thread and wants to do it, despite the massively cold voting that's going on!

its quite simple really contract is broken up in phone and airtime ,if you ring and pay of the phone side of the contract it cancels the airtime agreement so you pay 24 times whatever the phoneside is thats if you want to pay it of right away

after using an s4, I am literally dying to go back to an iPhone. #lagfree #notcraptier

How can we be in a recession if people will pay
£938 for a mobile on HP.

Never tried the S4, but I truly regret getting the iPhone 5. I'm starting to think I could live with the lack of security on Android. Updated to iOS7 last night & it looks like even Apple want to have an Droid.

o2 refresh is a two part bill. you pay interest free for the phone split over 24 months. and the other part is your actual line rental and inclusive minutes etc. So you might be paying £20 a month for the mobile phone and say £17 a month for the line rental

if you wish to pay for the phone early you just need to work out how many months you have left on the phone side of the bill ONLY and then simply pay it. it is interest free and isnt far off the retail price of the phone. so it works out pretty good!

once you do this the line rental is cancelled and you dont have to pay any termination fee!

A girl at work was getting excited about sliding finger security feature i mean how long other companies have been using that instead of 4 digits

Are you Donkii or Donkey?

so in theory, I can cancel the airtime plan and just carry on paying for the phone plan interest free for 24 months?

Well, we're not in a recession...but £938 for a blower is absolute madness (on that much we are agreed )

No - I understand to cancel the airtime you have to pay off the phone plan outright.

Nearly a grand for a 'lifestyle' phone with unlimited calls and texts but a really crappy data allowance... X)

...just goes to prove there are plenty of muppets out there!
