Ignore this - the law provided an unqualified 14 day right to inspect goods and then another 14 days to return.

Actually reading on:

"If you receive your product and find that you’re not happy with it or you've changed your mind, that’s fine. You can return it to us within 10 days of the order date for a refund. The original £4.99 postage cost will not be reimbursed for unwanted products. We cannot fully refund for opened 'brand new' items."

Completely illegal - someone should report them.

Cheers @Mrswitch - nice find, thanks for sharing
This phone is also about to get an Android Oreo update in case anyone was concerned about that.

Well I've emailed them pointing it out to them - best to see if it's an error than a deliberate attempt to defraud the customer.

How’s the Camera compared to Honor 9 lite and P20 lite.

Sound like a cowboy company. Price is right. But with this company and term like that. Avoid all cost.
how much to unlock this to lycamobile?

many thanks and regards
How is it cowboy, all it’s asking that if you open it and don’t like it you pay £5 to return it.

There is meant to be a ported google camera version that improves this significantly, can find a link if you're interested. Haven't tried myself but meaning to.

People have claimed that since November. It will come out in S. Korea first, then a couple weeks after it will go to the US, then Europe. I'm not expecting it to hit my G6 till mid-May at earliest

Because neither of those things are legal - You cannot get the consumer to opt out of their statutory rights?

The law gives you 14 days to inspect an idea and reject for any reason. How do you inspect something if you cannot open the box? If you return it, the retailer has to refund the cost (the standard cost) of postage.

The last sentence in their T&C is...

The above policies are part of our commitment to high quality service. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer

Which is effectively saying one can ignore their returns process as our statutory rights would obviously overrule anything they write. It's extremely misleading and I agree that they should be forced to change it.
I have the Asian edition of this phone I love it and is much better then UK 32gb

I'm not sure its reads like this im under the impression that you cannot even open it for a full refund read it again.
I've purchased several phones from this company and had issues with 1 or 2 of the phones and the company was brilliant, helped me with the issue and replaced the phone on one occasion. Never had any issues with them, best of the bunch when dealing with refurbished items.

Am I right in thinking this UK version removes a lot of the nice stuff:
Qi wireless charging
IR blaster
etc

They've been about to release Android 7.0 for the LG G4 for as long as I can remember, don't trust what LG say. Until people have actually received the update on these devices assume it won't be happening.

I think it's the US version that has wireless charging but no Quad DAC

The HK version has Quad DAC but no wireless charging as long as you buy 64gb version or 128GB

I have the 64GB HK version with Quad DAC. The sound blows every other smart phone I've owned right out of the water on a wired connection. It also has APTX HD wireless which isn't bad for bluetooth headphones either. I guess all versions probably have the APTX HD.

Had LGs GT540, G3 and currently G5. All had updated within about a month of them coming out.

It's not necessarily the company, but the carrier that delays it.
I don't buy the carrier argument. iPhones don't have that issue, Google Pixels don't have that issue, it's just another manufacturer excuse. If they wanted to take control of updates they easily could.

no only the american version has Qi it has 32gb more and quad DAC audio over the poor european . version
