Brand new model Skoda Octavia Estate 1.5 TSi SE First Edition £239.67 pm 10k / 24 months, total £6052.08 at Yes Lease
Posted 29th Jul
After a couple of days exhaustive searching looking for a deal on a suitable sized car to replace my current lease deal in October I found this. I was looking at the outgoing model as there are plenty in stock and can be had for a reasonable price but I stumbled upon this which I think is a cracking deal for the new model. It is a 24 month deal with 10k mileage and only one month upfront. I know everybody has their own preference on monthly payments versus initial deposit but this works for me.

  • The figures are as follows.....
  • Skoda Octavia Estate 1.5 TSi ACT SE First Edition
  • £239.67 per month with one month initial payment,
  • 10k annual mileage allowance
  • plus £300 broker fee
  • total £6052.08

That price is for the solid paint colour Energy Blue which is fine for me, I think metallic paint is a further £25 per month if you want it. Until I found this deal the best I could find for the same model and terms was £263 pm which in itself isn't a bad deal for the new model. They are a factory order, I've been quoted 11 weeks for mine whits fits perfectly but was told that some metallic colours are available earlier than that. Hope this helps somebody. I know that the image they supply is of the outgoing model but this deal is for the brand new Mark 4 model.

29% of the P11D value BUT this is a brand new model, not an end of line model so voted heat added.

I'm currently nearing the end of an Octavia lease and can say it's been a fantastic car for the money. (£4k total @ 10k miles PA).
Pic is the old model. You can tell by the horrific headlights

Great deal if it is new. Manual kills it for me tho

Since I got spoiled by the Passat Alltrack deal in 2016, no lease deal has ever come close:)

It's not a bad deal for the new model I fairness. I'd be keen to see something similar with either a metallic option or DSG, but those days are possibly long gone (Superb Estate SE Tech for £250pcm 1+23...never knew how good we had it...)
Strange, I've just checked it and it works for me?
Does this work....?

Yeah I know what you mean but deals like that are like hens teeth now....happy days. Would have liked manual and metallic but very happy with this price for a well equipped new model, it'll fit my needs for 2 years
This seems like a good deal, especially in today's climate

Liked my Skoda so much we renewed for 6 months and paid a paltry £206pcm...I should've renewed for 12m!

Yes I saw that one but it was for 8k mileage and I thought it came out at around £265 per month all in. They do the outgoing model for the same deposit £2490 plus £119 per month which was good value but for only about £20 more for this deal gets you the new model. Plus I had to take delivery straight away of the old model, couldn't delay it until October.

@Fishcann - Good deal, heat added, but have you come across any skoda (fabia / scala) for around £4500 for a 2 year lease and 8k or 10k miles please?
With these lease deals....what is cost if I go over mileage? Are they reasonable or ridiculous?
Looks like they've finally fixed the kangarooing issue with this engine

I'm afraid I didn't, sorry, as those models were too small for my needs I didn't really notice any. I know how frustrating it can be searching as it took me the best part of a couple of days to find this one. Good luck with your search.

Look on locolease or leasing.com

That said, just had a quick look. Don’t think you’re going to get anything even close to that. £5,800+ realistically.

Try the pistonheads deal forum. There were a few deals on a Corsa and other small cars recently but as it’s not what I needed, I didn’t really pay attention.

Seems unfair that you pay full whack if you drive under but may get hammered if you go over.

To be honest I didn't enquire as 10k should be enough for me. When I've gone over in the past it was approx 6-7 pence per mile and worked out quite reasonable, but then I only went over by about 600 miles one time.

Yes, this year I've only done just under 5k of a 10k allowance on my 12 month lease, would have been nice to get a rebate
Seems like an decent price considering it has 10k miles included. I have the same 1.5l engine in my VW Arteon (which was another fantastic lease deal), it has enough power even in such a large car and have never experienced this kangaroo issue.

7.2p per mile on this, which is reasonable. 72 quid per 1000 miles over.

If you go for a broker one, expect 15ppm
I miss the days when grills used to be compact, neat and tidy, instead of being a humongous hideous object that takes up the majority of the front.
Is this the poverty spec then?

It's not ideal and I would have preferred Race Blue to be honest but couldn't justify an extra £25 per month at the moment. I didn't think it was that bad though

You probably could have if you called but they would reduce the miles over the term so if you’ve got another year to run and need the 10k again, it might not have helped you.

No, not really. That will be the S spec when it becomes available later this year. It's very well equipped I thought and gets the virtual cockpit and LED headlights as standard. OK it doesn't have integrated SatNav like the SE L but it has wireless Apple Car Play and I tend to use Apple maps at the moment anyway. (Other phone manufacturers are available! ).

Are you sure ?? According to the Skoda website the se tech is more expensive and includes satnav . You may be confusing with sel version.

Annoying, Android auto supports wireless
Good price.
Shame not available in DSG, even for a few quid more.

I'm tempted to buy a superb se-l DSG diesel. Had the se tech estate and it was hands down the best car we've ever had. By a huge margin. MX5 was second best

I'm gutted that the lease went back. I even repaired a scuff with spray and wet and dry myself and it looked mint - collection guy was in disbelief at the condition. So big inside- only the A8 beats it for rear leg room.

Some leasing firms will reimburse miles under allowance to a degree. I've had experience of Mercedes Benz doing this.
