Thought you were slacking again then until I saw it was a 128GB iPhone. Heat given AND took it to 100degrees

Why do they produce 2 different versions?
Just my opinion but i really hate the s10.

I've always been a Samsung guy but removing the gesture+finger print on the back hurts and top it off when ur in a game or app u can't hard press the hone button to get back.

I literally set it up and then put it back in its box and carried on with my s9
Nice deal pity my S7 is still working :P

Same! It just won't break! I've had mine 3 years now - the only issues I've encountered is headphone jack not working and recently it has started not to receive calls on some occasions (but a restart fixes it). Decided not to go for a samsung this time, going to try OnePlus after hearing good things from friends. Plus way better value for money.

Yes restart fixes it, clear the ram. Oneplus as the same issues, started brilliant and then after 2 years, mobiles goes iffy eg connection and sound...still good luck on your next phone. I think I have to wait many years for it die ie no connection.

Most phones go iffy after the 2 year mark anyway? They need a factory reset & some fixes etc. Hence why its pointless to pay £600 for a phone, as its likely to produce the same issues as historical models.
Anyone know how the camera on this compares to the P30 or P30 Pro? I like the look of the shots that the Pixels can get, particularly with the dark mode... but the Pixel 4 seems a bit of a let-down. I've heard you can install Google Camera on Samsungs and was considering giving this a go on my S8, but worried I'll mess it up completely somehow...
The iphone price in title is locked on EE. Unlocked is 749

I noticed lag and worse battery on android 10 on my 7 Pro. Have come to the realisation that it’s better to not update your phone on either android or iOS. Keep it on the version it came with the year of release if possible and your phone will work as good as new until something inside eventually breaks physically. Security issues be dammed, unless you’re doing something dodgy on your phone, as long as you use apps from the official AppStore. Official apps from big companies, then you’ll be just fine.

I suppose it depends what you're doing with the phone - I don't game on it and I honestly couldn't tell the difference in camera shots (latest firmware) but I'm not a pro photographer It's the best phone I've owned and a huge step up from my LG G6. And I'm old and partially deaf in one ear so.. For me the camera is amazing and the screen more so. It's very 'wow'. Apparently Snapdragon does have one flaw - single core performance. TBH I think most will struggle to tell a difference but I'd imagine if you're a big mobile gamer worries about GPU performance and throttling might swing it.

The thing is, the next patch probably fixes that lag You can probably downgrade though if you download the full OTA from OnePlus btw
The iPhone is a steal at that price! 🔥🔥🔥 128gb, recently released 6" screen even though it's LCD Apple ones are top notch . Long updates and finally improved battery life on Apple's new range!

Why do they produce 2 different versions?

It’s to do with parent agreements between Qualcomm and Samsung and the CDMA network that’s used in the US.
s10 is a super deal, iPhone not so much

Not just gaming performance but all round performance affecting everyday use, if you're paying top money for a flagship phone why settle for an inferior of the same product?

S10, Pixel 4 or Oneplus7T Pro?

Ignore Pixel 4 terrible phone. I'd go with OP7T Pro over S10 Exynos. Unless you value headphone jack

I can't agree not to update a OP. Especially after launch or after a milestone update. But if you want to make sure, just wait a day or two and read some feedback on the official forums for example.
go for the global version. Bought the S10 Plus 128gb 7 months ago at £560
stay away from pixel 4

Will be one of the harder choices letting go of the headphone jack for a modern phone. Just bought some new earphones for holiday as lost old ones and I briefly tried wireless ones but kept dropping signal between phone and my pocket. Also kept falling out onto the floor.

Thought Pixel, only because the photo's are supposed to be good. Though the pixel 3a is a tempting price.

Then saw the OnePlus 7tPro....the mclaren version looks nice, though unsure on curved screens!?

So indecisive I know........Tssssk desicions desicipons

The PIxel range of phones take excellent photos because of the photo processing algorithms used, there are hacked versions of the Google Camera with the Pixel features that do work on a limited amount of other phones. You'll find these on XDA Developers forum. I have a Pixel 2 and have liked it until recently where the horrible battery life has become horrendous after 2 years (I charge the phone 3 times a day now, it is a well used battery). I skipped the PIxel 3 because I didn't need to upgrade, now I'm in the market for an upgrade and there's nothing that really takes my fancy.

The Pixel 4 range has crap battery life. The Xiaomi Note 10 Pro (CC9 Pro in China) has a decent and unusual camera system and the chipset is midrange. I'll have to compare it with the chipset in the Pixel 2 to see if it's worth upgrading. Phones have just become way overpriced. We get a lot of Galaxy Note 10 5G, 10+ etc in work and we also had a couple of OnePlus 7T phones in but meh, my phone looks horrendous but it works. I think I'll just pop the battery out and give it a new lease of life for 6 months or so until someone has the balls to release something I'm interested in.

I'm just getting interested in photography so I bought the Yi Mi Mirrorless camera for £140 today in the deal. I'm not sure it is a deal because it gets trashed by so many reviewers although there's a couple that do like it. I'll give it chance anyway. As for photos taken with my Pixel 2, it has taken some really excellent photos.

In many ways it’s not that much of a flaw, single core performance. You’ll be hard pressed to find anything outside of benchmarks that would make that deficiency noticeable. It is however much kinder to the battery, generally has better software compared to Exynos variant. Though how much the average user will notice these differences is tough to truly say.

Rule the Pixel 4 out. Awful battery life and won’t come close to lasting you the day. 7T pro is a big phone so worth barring in mind. 90hz display is amazing though. Virtually no impact on battery life either from when I had the 7 Pro. Curved screens are definitely for a select few people.

broke my S10, got busted back down to my ancient Wileyfox piece of ... for a week. so glad to have a new S10 5G again. The UI is pants though looks like a 5 year old designed it.

If i'd paid top money for one at launch it'd be a different story. I didn't and I'm really happy for what I do with the phone
When I needed a phone the snappy lizard version wasn't anywhere near the same price :/
