The "S" series carry a premium price tag because they have better cameras, build quality, processors, displays than the A series
I can’t wait for the new pixel 4a

At a guess exynos.
Got exited thinking it was the ultra & almost pulled the trigger
This is the samsung E range, better off getting the s20+ which has normal specs

Sorry?
@MrSwitch
S10 was seen as the "best all rounder" phone in 2019 from the reviews I read online.
In your view, what device released so far in 2020 would fit that bracket?

I'm looking a new device, the S10 seemed to fit the bill (not buying an Exynos model though) but maybe there is better out there now?
Looking at Samsung again as have been with Sony past few years but won't be going back to them again, memory management is terrible (in my experience anyway). Phone build quality is solid to be fair.

The best Samsung released recently is the note 10 plus in my opinion, strictly an 2019 phone, but bug better, good cameras and beautiful display are winners

Not all true in all scenarios though.
For a moment, thought S20+ 5G for £349 .... Lol

Guess have to wait a little longer!

Hmmm thanks. My mum's looking for a new phone, she's always been a fan of Samsung but so far has just bought back a few gens in the S series. Maybe A is the way to go... Camera is the main feature for her to be honest but it wouldn't need to be as ott as the S20

The funny thing is, if you go 2 generations back (S series), and don't buy the plus/note model, you may find that some A series (or other non Samsung mid rangers) has better camera!
Haha OK then thanks I know what I'll be doing this rainy afternoon then, research!
