Go for the 20gb deal with £49.99 upfront and £42 monthly

Airtime - £30

Device plan - £12

The phone element of contract is £12/month x 24=£288

Get £50 off the upfront cost.Promo code: TA6FKBT413

- Claim a free Samsung speaker worth £99.99 when you buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge. You’ll get a leaflet with your phone, with instructions on how to claim.

Ends 11 Jan.

Step by step guide for this deal

1) Follow the get deal button, purchase the £49.99 + £12*24 tariff.

2) Receive your phone and sim card.

3) Put the sim card into your phone and go onto myO2 (app or website) and from there request the unlock code.

4) Call 202 from the same sim card as it will make things much easier, go straight to the I want to leave o2 department or something like that (I think it's thinking of leaving us? Press something) as that will connect you with the right people much quicker.

5) Tell the person you want to pay your device in full and cancel the airtime. They will ask you why, tell them you don't think the airtime is a good value for money, but you want to keep the phone because you think it's an outstanding value for money. They will ask you for card details, you tell those details and that's it, they cancel it for you in about an hour.

6) You own the phone from that point, assumed that you have done this straightaway, there won't be any charges, otherwise you will have to pay as much airtime as you have used.

7) Unlock code will come through in about 2 to 48 hours

Thanks to chenzz for the code

Amazing price, can't afford the risk to my credit score.

Great stuff - ordered, cheers!

Also a free speaker thrown in too.

Do you have to wait for unlock code to come through before cancelling contract - is unlock code sent to that sim card number?

lol sorry were do you enter the promo code?

Hot deal, quidco or any of that shizzle ?

I like the s7, but the speaker is a bit weak

I'll just throw it out there, guys

It's £369.99 for S7 edge.
£9.99 +£15.00*25 = 369.99

Great deal! Ordered one.
Was slightly confused as the tariff in the step-by-step guide did not match the one in the earlier description.

Any idea which (Model) Samsung speaker get with this deal?

Trying to find it..

Holy moly, this is an amazing deal, can't imagine them honouring the speaker though if you cancel the airtime?

Does anyone know where to enter the code please? I can't find it. Is it on the final step?

A leaflet comes along with the phone. It gives you the instructions on how to claim it.

Can a mod merge the multiple threads posted on this deal today.

Tempted by this, was looking for a OnePlus 3 but not keen on paying an extra £70 for the new model which doesn't seem to add too much extra.

Only concerns on the O2 Refresh deals are the comments around credit score that seem to pop up from time to time, and how many crappy O2 specific apps are on the phone. Anyone care to reassure me please?

didn't someone else post this about 2 hours ago?

OP of that post changed his title and description. His original title and price was entirely different. That's why it went cold. Then once this deal popped up OP managed to amend his title and description.

Thats OP s 2nd comment of his post to show his initial price was diff.

why would this affect your credit score?

God, this is tempting, lesson learnt, never buy phones on contract anymore especially with refresh deals, hopefully they don't close this out, obviously if they wanted they would of done it already.

I've taken out 3 refresh deals in the past, and never had any other credit loans before, my credit score dropped quite a bit. This is because refresh deals work like a loan on your credit file, and it creates 2 lines as well instead of just one.

Are you 100% sure that we will be able to cancel Airtime Plan? Never done this before so bit nervous...

Otherwise deal is great..

I just went on chat and asked the question, they said yes, able to cancel airtime without any cancellation charges once you have paid of phone.

I've ordered this, first time I've bought a phone contact before, nervous that it won't work and I'll end up getting stung for it.
Any reason why this won't work?
Not bothered about my credit score as it's mint.

On the other thread (where title was changed) someone has been in live chat to order phone and been told code is for tablets. Let's hope that o2 dispatch these before they cancel orders
